Hajime was talking to his best friend, Chiaki, and his crush, Nagito, in the dining hall. Hajime always felt like he could trust Chiaki with anything, including the identity of his crush. However, he never thought that Chiaki and Nagito would become fast friends over the simplest thing. Twilight Saga Murder Case.
It was apparently one of the best games in history, according to the pair of them. Soon Hajime was being ditched by them as they played it together. Hajime felt alone, I mean, Chiaki knew that he had a major crush on the white haired boy and yet Hajime felt as if the Ultimate Gamer was trying to steal the other from him.
Hajime knew that it sounded selfish to be thinking like this, but it's what he felt. He had one other person who might just be the one to cheer him up.
"Well... Does Chiaki know that you like Nagito?" Fuyuhiko asked cautiously as Hajime paced in front of him. The two were in the library talking while the suspects in question were playing games at Nagito's place.
"Yeah, I've told her that." Hajime glanced at the Ultimate Yakuza.
"Does Nagito know?"
"I've told him... however, they haven't said anything back. I haven't gotten a yes or a no." Hajime said dejectedly.
"Why don't you talk to Chiaki? Tell her that you feel jealous of her and then tell Nagito the same thing. You can tell them at the same time or separately." Fuyuhiko attempted to reassure his friend.
"Maybe I'll try that. Thanks Fuyuhiko."
"Don't thank me, now go and confess to your prince charming." Fuyuhiko smiled as he ushered the brunette out of the library.

Hajime meet Chiaki outside her dorm early the next morning, he wanted to get a word in with her before she went to the dining hall.
"Chiaki, can I talk to you?" Hajime asked.
"Of course." Chiaki yawned as she continued to press buttons on her controller.
Most people would feel annoyed that she wasn't paying attention to them, but Hajime knew that she could listen while playing video games.
"Do you like Nagito?" Hajime immediately regretted the words as Chiaki looked up from her video game with a shocked expression, game over music playing.
"No. Don't you like them?" Chiaki asked, putting the game away. This was a serious topic.
"I-I do, and--" Hajime took a deep breath, "I'm jealous of all the time you and Nagito are spending with each other." He gushed.
Chiaki smiled amusedly, "No, I don't like Nagito that way. I was just excited that someone else on the island liked Twilight Saga."
Hajime looked relieved, "Thanks Chiaki. I'm sorry I doubted you, I was just--"
"Jealous?" Chiaki asked lightly, pulling out her consol again.
"Yeah..."
"Well, I'm guessing you'll want to talk to Nagito now. So I'll cancel our plans and hint about spending time with you." Chiaki said while she played her game.
"Thanks Chiaki."

As Chiaki had promised, Nagito was alone for the whole day. Hajime found the white haired hope-lover on the beach.
"Hey Nagito, can I talk to you?" Hajime felt his heart rate increase as Nagito turned to him and smiled.
"Sure."
The two sat down under the shade of a palm tree, the taller of the two waiting for Hajime to speak.
"So, umm, how do I do this?" Hajime sighed, playing with his fingers awkwardly.
Nagito waited patiently for the other to confess, Chiaki had filled him in while they talked over breakfast. The boy knew that he liked him, however, he had no idea about Hajime feeling jealous.
"I, ummm, I've kinda been crushing on you for a while..." Hajime started, looking intently at the sand, "A-and when you started spending so much time with Chiaki, I maybe started to feel a bit jealous..."
Hajime glances up at Nagito to see him blushing faintly.
"Umm, you don't have to stop spending time with Chiaki or even return my feelings, I just thought you should know..."
Hajime had gone back to staring at the sand, too embarrassed to look at the Ultimate Lucky Student. Something warmed leaned against him. Looking up, Hajime found that it was Nagito who had leaned against him, his head on Hajime's shoulder. Nagito wrapped his arms around Hajime, turning it into a hug.
"I'm sorry." He whispered.
"Why?"
"I didn't mean to distance myself from you, I felt like I wasn't worthy of your affection. I'm just garbage."
"You're not garbage, Nagito!" Hajime snapped, pulling away from the boy to look into his green eyes.
"I can't understand why someone as perfect as you could enjoy being around me!" Hajime felt tears coming and hid his face.
"I don't want to sit here debating on who's garbage so I'll just say this; I love you, Hajime." Nagito whispered, pulling Hajime's face back to look at him.
Hajime leaned forward, their lips nearly touching when Hajime paused, "Can I kiss you?"
Nagito smiled and closed the distance between them, pressing their lips together.
"I love you, Nagito." Hajime smiled, hugging the other.
"I love you, too." Nagito kissed the other's head and the pair sat there for the rest of the day.
