Shuichi watched with an amused expression as Kokichi tried to reach a branch over his head. The pair were decorating a Christmas tree in Kokichi's dorm. Since Monokuma's motive, the remaining students had been closer than ever during the holiday. Even though they weren't out of the Killing Game yet, they were as content as they could possibly be.
"Need help, Kokichi?" The bluenette asked, taking the red bulb from the smaller and putting it on one of the highest branches. The tree was only six feet.
"No fair, you're taller than me." Kokichi pouted, placing a white ornament on a lower branch.
"You look adorable, Kokichi." Shuichi murmured as he continued to help the small leader decorate the tree. If he remembered correctly, Maki and Kaito were supposed to be setting one up in Kaito's room.
"I wonder what it would be like to be taller than you, Saihara~Chan~" Kokichi teased, hugging the taller.
Shuichi picked the smaller up, Kokichi looking down at the detective triumphantly.
"Happy?" Shuichi asked.
"Very~" Kokichi kissed the taller's lips, having fun with the fact that Shuichi was shorter than him.
"Merry Christmas, Kokichi~"
"Merry Christmas!"
