after i asked him to stay at my apartment, we got bored and resorted to drinking coffee and almond milk sitting on a couch while telling stories up at the rooftop, waiting for the sun to rise.
it was quite the scenario actually.
like something out of a very cheesy romcom movie.
like the ones you'll only see in fanfics.
we stare up at the sky after our long talks which eventually quitened down because we ran out of things to talk about.
but the silence wasn't awkward this time. it was rather comforting.
he was comforting.
i let him lay his head on my shoulder, as he mumbles some more things under his breath.
the five am sky was beautiful, filled with pinks, blues and purples.
the once dark sky was now very lively, as the neighborhood is. people waking up to start the day while we haven't even finished.
"you're the only good thing to come out of this junnie." i heard him mumble.
confused, i ask. "why's that?"
"just-just because."
i decided to just let it go, assuming it was just sleep talk.
i asked him one last question before he could actually fall asleep.
"why do you like almond milk so much?"
