yeonjun.

my shift starts, along with the other guy, taehyun.

i go by my shift as usual, the first few hours being undeniably boring, as there were rarely any customers around.

honestly, isn't this like bad for the business? i mean, we get rush hours and all that but an hour or two with only the occasional one customer is pretty wack.

but what do i know, i'm just a cashier.

moving my thoughts to more positive ones, i think about my date later.

yes, i'm calling it a date. and what about it?

"young man, all i want is some soup, please." an elderly voice snaps me out of my mind.

"oh, sorry ma'am." she hands me a can of tomato soup and i quickly took care of it, embarrassed.

lots of hours passed and i haven't seen him anywhere.

he'd probably show up later at five, yeonjun. duh.

five rolls around and my shift ends. i patiently wait outside for him.

six o'clock comes by.

it's cool. he's just late. yeah.

seven, eight, nine passes by.

manager sejin is already preparing to close up shop.

i'm starting to think he'd never show up.
