"junnie, there's someone here for you!" i heard my mother call.

 
i groaned, getting up from my position on the floor playing videogames.

 
i walked downstairs grudgingly. dinner was the only thing on my mind. after that, continue my game.

 
downstairs with my mom was a boy.

 
a boy in clothes far too many layers and too big for him.

 
a boy whose ears were too red because of the cold.

 
a boy whose eyes tell that he has gone through too much.

 
"h-hi. my name is soobin." he shyly greets.

 
"h-hi."

 
"junnie, this is soobin. he and his mother will be staying with us for christmas dinner." my mother announces. "why don't you keep him company while we get the food ready, hmm?"

 
"o-okay."

it had been around fifteen minutes of just him sitting on my bed, watching me play.

 
i had offered him the other controller, but he declined.

 
tsk, i really wanted a player two.

 
my stupid little kid brain can't wrap around as to why he was being so quiet.

 
i haven't even seen him before.

 
is he like a distant cousin or something?

 
i heard his tummy grumble a little bit, and reached out for the tray on the bedside that was filled with the tetra-packed milk i dislike.

 
"here." he grabs it.

 
"we'll be having dinner soon."

 
his eyes lit up. "t-thank you, junnie."

 
i smiled back. "does it taste yummy?"

 
he nods his head furiously.

 
i chuckle, finding it amusing how he like the tase of almond milk while i don't.

 
'it'll help you grow stronger' mom said. the taste says otherwise.

 
i looked back to see him downing that piece of tetra-packed goodness.
