This very short piece was written almost 3 years ago. I submitted this to a Facebook page and unlucky me, they didn't post it. I got a little bit discouraged so I didn't tried to submit another short story. So instead of posting this to a Facebook page, why not add this to another story of mine right? I don't have any title for this soooo yeah. I didn't make any revisions on this one. I like this one being flawed and all.

"We've been engaged for two years now, when are we going to plan for our wedding?" He asked me while he was back-hugging me.

I was silent for a minute or two, afraid to answer his question. I'm afraid to answer him with the truth that I'm in love with somebody else.

"Let's set a date tomorrow babe." I answered. He burried his face in the crook of my neck and I felt his thin lips formed into a smile. A tear trickled down my face as I heard him says, "I love you so much Michelle."

It's been a year after we set the date for the wedding. And today, as I walk down the aisle, I couldn't help my tears as I saw him in the end of the aisle waiting for me.

I stopped at the middle. The guests were confused why I stopped. He walked towards me and when he reached my place, he hugged me so tight.

"Go, run away baby. Run after the man you love." And after he said those words that broke him apart, I run after my happiness.

Thank you, thank you so much for letting me go. I wish you happiness. I loved you, but we aren't for each other baby.
