Second Round 3/3

Ness's P.O.V

After talking to my family and some friends it helped and they all sounded happy to know that I won my first match. I hope it also solved my problem with my PSI especially since I promised I'd train with Link soon and PSI is a big part of my fighting style but I guess there's only one way to find out

Link's P.O.V

After a little while, I saw Ness walk into the training room

"Ready to train now?" I asked

"Guess we'll find out" I heard him reply

His answer had confused me a bit but I ignored it and got ready to start, seeing him do the same

"Ready when you are," Ness said

Immediately I started to grab for my boomerang and threw it towards Ness. I then saw him pull out his bat and get ready to swing while I was questioning what he was even doing. Once the boomerang was close enough to him he swung at it like it was a ball and it quickly coming back to hit me, surprised I quickly used my shield to stop the boomerang.

"Well played," I told him

"I'm surprised you were fast enough to not get hit" He responded

Focusing back into fighting I decided to instead get closer since ranged attacks weren't the best option anymore. As he saw me running in, he summoned some sort of firebolt and threw it towards me while he yelled "Pk Fire!". it managed to hit me and I was stuck in the fire it created. He then ran over to punch me while I was in the fire, throwing me across the stage. As I got up I instead ran towards him but jumped to avoid another Pk Fire. Once he saw he instead summoned a ball of lightning yelling "Pk Thunder!" and the lightning bolt went directly to me pushing me back again. This kid was good there's not a lot  I could do against him. Getting up from that hit I realized I probably should try ranged attacks again. As I threw my boomerang I saw him start to pull out his bat so I pulled out a bomb and threw it at him before he had the chance to swing. When I saw him get hit by the bomb I knew I could finally start my attack while he was stunned from the boomerang I ran to him and used my Hookshot to grab him. I threw him forward and dashed to him slashing my sword at him to send him far off stage. As he tried to get back on stage a thought came to my head maybe I could try and recreate what I did to Samus after all this was training. So I jumped off stage over Ness and reached for my sword. Yet before I could pull it out Ness summoned another Pk thunder but he hit himself which rocketed him towards the stage. Only the problem is I was in the middle and he rocketed straight into me and I was shot straight to the blast zone.

Once I teleported back I saw Ness was still hanging onto the stage so I helped him up.

"Great training," I said putting my hand out to shake

"Yeah" he agreed, shaking my hand

We then heard speakers come on to say "Fox has won against Yoshi the second round is officially over"

"Guess that means I'm against Fox next round" I heard Ness say

"Well, I think you have a good chance. Believe me, you're a good fighter. Plus at least it's not Pikachu, going against him is gonna be a nightmare."

"Guess you're right' thanks for training with me." He responded

"My pleasure," I said as we split ways leaving the training room
