Ness's Letter
Coming home from school was always great but especially now since summer has started. As I got home I grabbed the mail like I always did and walked inside. "Hey Ness, how was your last day?" I heard my mom say. "Good," I said as I set down the mail in front of her and quickly went up to my room until I heard her say "Ness what about your letter?"
"My letter? From who?" I said confused. I saw her look at the letter for a second "Nintendo". "NINTENDO?!" I said eagerly grabbing the letter and opening it
Dear Ness
We are proud to announce that you have been chosen to represent Earthbound in Super Smash Brothers where you will be put up against 11 other participants. We hope you are able to attend the tournament and wish you luck if you choose to
Sincerely Nintendo
After I read it I handed it to my mom for her to read "Do you plan to go?" she asked. "Of course I do!" I exclaimed "Well I guess you should start packing" after I heard her say that I rushed upstairs starting to wonder what other 11 Nintendo icons would be there.
Samus's Letter
Incoming Signal
I opened the signal to see a message that seemed to come from Nintendo. After reading this it had caught my attention so I read the message.
Dear Samus
We are proud to announce that you have been chosen to represent Metroid in Super Smash Brothers where you will be put up against 11 other participants. We hope you are able to attend the tournament and wish you luck if you choose to.
Sincerely Nintendo
It sounded sorta suspicious or at the very least a smaller event but it was from Nintendo so I couldn't ignore it. If it was a trap by someone it also sounded terribly planned so it probably was just a smaller event. It also honestly sounded like fun. So I decided to send back a message confirming I'll be there and started flying there.
