I was at home in the middle of summer bored just flipping through channels. Until I saw what looked like a Jigglypuff and a kid around my age with black hair a red hat and a striped shirt fighting. I kept watching since honestly I'm a pretty big Pokemon fan and I wanted to see Jigglypuff win. Then I saw that kid use PSI. He was like me. Immediately, I started to root for him and he eventually won.

Afterward, I found out the tournament was called Super Smash Brother and it had 12 Nintendo icons. That kid is called Ness and he's from a town called Onett. Maybe one day I'll get invited to a tournament and I could even meet him. Wait, but I have PSI I can try to contact him now!

I turned the TV off and sat there. I was nervous but tried my best to focus on Ness and what I wanted to say.

"Ness? I saw you in the tournament I have PSI too. I'm rooting for you. Oh! My name is Lucas Hope we meet someday"

After some time I stopped focusing hoping it would reach him. Then I realized my face felt warm.

...Was I blushing?

Ness's P.O.V

Once Link and Pikachu left the training room I started heading to my room I knew I'd miss the match but I really just needed to sleep a little. So I laid in bed and fell asleep.

"¿Nes_ I saw y_u in th_ tourna_ent I have P_I too. I'm roo_ing for yo_. O_¡ My nam_ is ______ Hope we meet someday"

I slowly opened my eyes and woke up. I looked at the clock and it had been an hour or so, so I still had a little time before my match.

But I heard someone in my sleep like how Paula talked to me before I met her but it sounded like a boy around my age and his message was a little broken but I understood most of it except his name. But this also means that there are other people that have PSI.

Then I heard an announcement start. "The second match of Semi-Finals will begin soon"

I get off my bed quickly pushed my hair forward, put my cap on and started heading towards the stage. And I saw Fox there waiting I assumed for me.

"Hey Fox," I saw him pick his head up as he heard me.

"Ness! This is it, Are you ready?"

"Ready as I'll ever be"

"Then let's go," He said as he entered the stage and I did the same

As we both entered the stage I heard cheers around us. From an audience... I looked and grew more nervous as I saw everyone around the stage watching us.

"Hey, Don't worry about them, focus on the match," Fox said when he noticed me looking at the crowd

"O-Ok thanks.." I said as I calmed down and got ready for the match

We both got in a ready stance to show we're ready and we started. He quickly reached for his blaster and started shooting in my direction. While the first few hit me I used PSI Magnet to heal from two shots and he quickly stopped. Then he ran towards and I stopped him with a PK fire. I got closer to him as he was stuck in the fire and hit him upwards with my palms jumped to kick him back down and kept him in that chain then took out my bat to swing at him so he went from no damage to losing his stock without having a chance to act. I really can win this.

The crowd went silent and were probably stunned. Then I heard a chant start at first faint then getting louder "Ness! Ness! Ness!" and I looked around at the crowd with a smile coming on to my face.

After what felt like ages Fox came back. "Guess there's no more going easy then," He said "Guess not" I replied

He then ran at me connected a kick and put me into his own combo, grabbed me, and threw me off stage. While I tried to jump back he jumped over me, used his reflector to hit me. It shot me down similar to my kick down on Jigglypuff and after that, I couldn't recover back.

By now this match now just looked like back and forth showboating. When I was put back on stage I went for a PK Fire but he reflected it and rant to kick me out of the fire. When he tried to follow me again I interrupted him with an aerial and a PK thunder. While he was on the ground from the hit I used my yoyo and flung it at him sending him off stage. When I saw him go for firefox I jumped over where I thought he would end up and once I saw I was right I kicked him down.

By the time I was back on stage Fox was there too. I ran towards him and went for a swing of my bat but he shielded and grabbed me to throw me forward hard enough to take my stock

After I was put back on stage I heard another chant "Go Fox!" and then the crowd had split into two chants "Ness! Ness! Ness!" "Go Fox!" the chants just went on and off through the match while we just slowly racked up damage to each other than I thought of something. Once I saw the opportunity I landed a Pk Fire summoned a PK Thunder and used it to rocket myself into him as a final show off.

As Fox was launched to the blast zone the crowd exploded into cheers. When Fox was put back on stage he came over to talk to me

"Hey, Great match. You're way better of a fighter than when you started."

"T-Thanks,"

"Good Luck on the finals. I'll be rooting for you"

"And Good Luck in your 3rd place match," I said as we left the stage to meet with the others
