"Why?" was my response to him.
I was on the ground, my knees feel like as if they're on fire because I fell.
I look behind me to see the one and only Shouto Todoroki looking at me as well.
What an entrance I've made for him. Just me here, sitting hopelessly on the ground.
"Why did you follow me here?" I ask him.
He looks to the side, "I just wondered why you suddenly ran out like that, it look like you wanted bread but you just ran out like that."
I squint my eyes in confusion.
"What's with you?"
He looks at me with a 'what?' expression.
"Seriously, I don't get you at all anymore. First you yell at me when I told the truth, then you block me, and now you're here worrying about me because I ran out the bakery? What the hell is up with you?!" I yell.
He flinches a bit at my sharp tone.
I hesitate, "Sorry.."
I can feel my legs again, so I stand up, trying to hide the fact that I literally couldn't feel them minutes earlier.
"I didn't mean to yell, I'm sorry.. I guess I'll just go again, sorry for wasting your time.."
I turn to walk out of the park, but he grabs me by the wrist.
"Hey, how about we just talk a bit? I wanted to apologize myself," Todoroki says.
I laugh softly, "Why are you apologizing? You don't need to say an apology to me at all. It's me that brought you into that mess, not you."
He sighs, "I didn't give you a chance to explain, now did I?"
"What explanation is there to give? Don't you know enough already?" I turn around and look at him.
He averts his eyes.
"I did buy 2 chocolate cornets, you can have one even if you don't want to talk."
My lips tighten, "You really want to know, huh?"
He looks at me.
"Let's go sit down, might as well tell you everything."
