Floating on Daydreams

                          maybe someday i will open up my email

   and not see 'no new messages' in pretty font scrawled across the screen.

                    i hope not. because if I do,  i'll just get used and wasted. 

i'd like to be the kind of sweet surprise that people wait so eagerly for on valentine's day.

                          if life is a journey, then i've lost my way

               even though i've lived in the same place my whole life.
