Chapter 4: Welcome To WWE!

We arrived at the Thomas & Mack Center and made our way to the bosses' office. The door was closed so we decided to sit and wait to be called in.

Minutes passed on and we were beginning to become antsy. Then Hunter (Triple H) opens the door and ushers us in. We all set down and waited to be addressed. Butterflies began to form in my stomach. Every emotion a human could ever feel, I was feeling in that moment. Tyler put his hand on mine and gave me a sincere smile as if he knew what I was going through.
"Welcome gentlemen!...and miss." Hunter said shaking all of our hands. "We are excited to see all of you! It's always nice to have fresh faces!" We thanked him and he continued
"So let's get down to business. We're on a pretty tight schedule and I would like to introduce you guys to the WWE Universe tonight. So, tell me your ideas on how you want to be presented and the music you've chosen." Hunter said smiling. We let Tyler speak on our behalf since he was considered the leader of the group.
"Back at NXT, we were known as The American Outlaws. As a trio, our music was If it's possible we'd like our routines and music to stay the same." Tyler answered.
"Sure! I have no problem with that. What about tag teams and solos?" Hunter asked while writing everything down.
"Joe and I are tag team partners. Our entrance song is . As for solos, my entrance song is " Tyler answered.
"Mine is Joe chimed in.
"Okay what about you?" Hunter asked looking at Jacob.
"Mine is ." Jacob answered.
"Okay! Works for me.And what about you miss-"
"Annaleigh. Annaleigh Halliwell." I smiled.
"Pleasure to meet you dear. What is your entrance?"
"Actually, do you mind if I talk to you and Stephanie alone? I have an idea I'd like to pitch."
All of the guys looked at each other and then back at me.
"Sure! Let me just call Steph. Guys it was nice meeting you! I'm looking forward to seeing what you bring to the table." Hunter said shaking each of their hands. The guys looked at me with concern but I gave them a reassuring smile.
They walked out and Stephanie walked in. She walked over and embraced me in a hug. Hunter joined her at the desk then she said, "Welcome Annaleigh! I'm so glad to have you as a Diva finally! Now what is this idea of yours?"
Oh man! I think the butterflies in my stomach just had babies! Because I'm more nervous now then I was before. Well, here goes nothing.
"Thank you Stephanie. That means alot! I had an idea that I'd like to try. I want to change the Divas division. I'd like to be someone they've never encountered before and that the Universe has yet to see in a Diva." It look like I had peaked their interest.
"How are you planning on doing that?" Stephanie asked.
"Well, with your permission, I'd like my style and my character to be edgy. Back at NXT, my character was unpredictable and intense. It worked for me and it progressed. I fought both the Divas and Superstars and I'd like to do the same here. No one has seen that since Amy (Lita) was here."
They sat in silence so I continued.
"I pretty much did and said whatever I wanted at NXT. I'd like to do the same here as well. PG of course! And... I'd like to be in between face and heel."
Hunter and Stephanie looked at each other and were silent for a few moments. Then Stephanie spoke,
"Actually, that sounds like a really good idea! That could push the envelope for the Divas! I say yes!" Stephanie said smiling at Hunter.
"I agree! There's so many things that we could do with your character! I'm really excited to see what you can do with her!" He said. I was relieved. Beyond excited! I have big plans!
"So what will be your entrance song?" He asked.
"." I beamed.
"Alright! You're all set!" Stephanie said shaking my hand. We talked for a few more minutes before I left to change into my ring attire. Before I could reach the door, Hunter called back to me and said, "Welcome to WWE!"
