"Oh my gosh! Annaleigh! You look beautiful!" Nattie said as her and the other girls came into the room.
"Thank you ladies!" I said beaming as I looked over Leighlas work. She really did have true talent!
"Nervous?" Eva asked.
"Very! I can't believe this is happening! Is this really happening?!" I asked as my voice began to crack. The girls rushed over and embraced me in a hug.
"Sweetie, why the tears?" Nattie asked worried.
"I'm just worried that this is all a dream. That I'm going to wake up back in Nevada... no ring... no groom... no engagement. I mean you dream of this day ever since you were a little girl but... when it actually happens, it's even greater than you imagined."
Today was the day! In just a few short house, I will become Mrs. Jonathan Lee Good! The wedding didn't take long. I've had this day planned out since I was 9 years old. All I needed was the groom, the bridesmaids and the guest list. My wedding was being held in my hometown of Lubbock, Texas. Jon and I chose my family's old farm to have to wedding at. The place fit my theme perfectly and it would hold all of our guests.
My wedding theme? Vintage Rustic. It's elegant, old fashioned and timeless. The colors I chose are baby blue and Mountbatten pink. The wedding planning turned out to be more complicated then I had hoped but it eventually worked out!

"Today's the big day man! You excited?" Seth asked.
"Excited, nervous, a little sick..." I answered trying to put on my tie. Annaleigh and I have finally made it! We are getting married. This year of planning was long and exhausting but we're here!
"Come on, kiddo! Just stick it out a little bit longer." Joe pleaded with his and Emma's newest addition: a healthy baby boy named Sawyer Jackson Anderson. Their little guy will be our ring bearer. Though he may be small, the kid's got his role down! He holds on to that pillow for dear life!
"What's wrong with him?" Roman asked.
"I don't know. I think he's hungry but Emma is down the hall."
"You didn't bring a bottle?"
"We did but it's also with Emma."
My part of the wedding planning was pretty easy! My groomsmen were none other than my brothers, Roman and Seth. Roman is my best man. I also chose Joe to be my third groomsman. Out of Annaleigh's friends' Joe and Jacob were the only ones who supported mine and Annaleigh's relationship. Tyler, his brother Ian and Jacob were all Ushers.
"You're a life saver!" I heard Joe say. I turned to see Seth handing Joe a baby bottle.
I examined Joe and how he was with his son. Since meeting him, Joe reminded me alot of myself in some ways. I remember talking to him one night on their balcony about marriage and kids. He had the exact same fears as I did when it came to that, but seeing him with Sawyer... I don't know. Makes me think that I too can pull off the role of 'Dad'. I wouldn't mind starting a family with Annaleigh.
"Son, you've got your tie all kinds of crooked!" I heard Annaleigh's father say. He helped me out.
"Thank you sir."
"Sir is the term you use for my father but he's dead now. Call me Victor." Victor said sternly.
"Sorry."
"Don't be." He was silent for a few moments before he said,
"Thank you Jonathan."
"For what?"
"I haven't been a good husband or father a time or two. I love my girls of course, but there was a time I wasn't there. Annaleigh didn't have my protection and guidance when it came to boys and she had her heart shattered once. Then you came along and you brought my daughter back. You saved her." He stated beginning to choke up.
"Thank you Victor, but with all due respect, she saved me." Victor nodded in understanding and embraced me in a tight firm hug as he wiped a few tears away.
"Take care of my little girl."
"You have my word."
Just then the pastor came in,
"It's time."
***Annaleigh's P.O.V***
The ceremony began and the butterflies began to surface. Joelle was the first one to walk down the aisle since she was the Flower Girl. She wore that title with pride and took it very seriously. Next was my Maid of Honor; which happened to be Lexi. Followed by Lexi were my bridesmaids. One by one they began their walk to the alter.
"How is my little girl?" My dad asked walking up to stand beside me.
"I feel like I can't breathe."
He grabbed my hand and began to soothe it.
"Relax angel. You can do this!"
Then,
began to play. I chose to walk down the aisle to that particular song because Jon called me Cinderella and I was my daddy's little princess.
"You ready sweetheart?"
"Ready. Daddy?"
"Yea?"
"Don't let me fall."
"Never."
We began our walk as everyone stood in awe. Once I was close to Jon, he walked up next to me and waited.
"Who gives this woman away today?" The pastor asked.
"Her mother and I." My father answered. He kissed me on the cheek, shook Jons hand, and gave my hand away to Jon. Together, we walked to the alter.
The wedding was remarkable! The sun was shining, the wind was still... the universe was right today! After a prayer and a few words from the pastor, it was time for our vows:
(Annaleigh)
I vow to continue to help you believe in love everyday. I promise to be understanding when times are hard to understand. To always build you up and never tear you down. I vow to not see you solely on your flaws, but to love you for being the flawed imperfect human being that you are. I vow to have the patience that love demands. To speak when words are needed and to share the silence when they are not. I vow to be completely devoted to you and only you all the days of our lives.
(Dean)
I vow to fiercely love you in all of your forms. I vow to also be completely devoted to you and only you. I vow to always remember that this is a once in a lifetime love. And I vow to remind you, should I fail to make you feel loved, that my love for you is endless. And I vow that no matter how hard life gets or what it plans to throw at us, or whatever tries to tear us apart, that we will always find our way back to each other.
After our vows, we broke tradition some and created our own tradition. The First Fight Box. We laid our sealed letters that were addressed to the other one down. Next we placed our engraved wine glasses and our favorite bottle of wine down after. I took a nail, Jon took a nail and together we nailed the box shut.
After the Lord's prayer and a few other things, we kissed to seal our bond in marriage.
"I now introduce, Mr. and Mrs. Jonathan Good!" Our guests cheered and hollered as we walked back up the aisle. Then we headed for the reception.
***Dean's P.O.V***
It's official! I am now married to my best friend! Annaleigh is finally my forever! At the reception, we danced the night away. Annaleigh and Victors' father/daughter dance was really beautiful!
I also danced with Annaleighs mother and Tylers mother.
After the dancing, Annaleigh and I cut the cake. (No! We did not shove the cake in each others faces). Joelle caught the bouquet. I don't know whether Roman was pissed or scared. Maybe a little of both! Seth caught the garter. (This will be interesting!).
Finally, our friends and family saw us out to our honeymoon.
"If you think dancing tonight was rough, just wait until we get to Rio!"Annaleigh teased.
"I'll dance with you anywhere." I said kissing the top of her hand.
The car ride was silent. A million things were running through my head. I don't know where this road plans on taking us, or what to expect in the future. But for once I don't care. For once I know where I am and where I want to go. This journey... this adventure...has me excited! What can this new life bring for me and Annaleigh? Guess we'll just have to wait and see!
