Together At Last Pt. 2

Last night was perfect! A tour on the bayou, helping someone less fortunate than I, trying real Cajun food, and now I'm with Dean. Tonight was Raw and when our rivalries heated up before next week.

***Dean's P.O.V***
"So what happened?" Roman asked.
"We had a blast." I said smiling.
"You really had fun volunteering? And riding a boat?" Seth asked.
"Yes. We met an incredible woman who was very grateful for our help. It felt good. The tour was fun also. Our tour guide was a riot! Annaleigh ever pet an alligator."
"What?!" They both looked shocked.
"Yea! But she's afraid of spiders." I said laughing.
"So... what's the word? Did you ask her out?" Roman asked.
"About that..." I said as I let the tension build on their worried faces. "I did and she said yes." I said proudly. They both stood up and high fived me.
"About damn time!" Seth said smiling.
"Yea and don't lose her!"
"Wasn't planning on it. She's mine and I'll do whatever it takes to protect that."
"Good! Now let's add to this happiness by retaining our titles!" Roman yelled as we finished getting ready for our matches later on.
***Annaleigh's P.O.V***
I couldn't stop smiling. I was on Cloud 9! I was in the Divas locker room and was watching Jacob's promo for his and Dean's match later on.
"You're particularly happy tonight! What's up?" Summer asked coming to sit beside me.
"I'll tell you but you can't tell Tyler yet! I have to be the one to tell him." I warned.
"Okay. What's up? Spill girl!" Nattie and all the other Divas gathered around to listen to what I was about to say.
"Well you know that Dean and I have been hanging out alot..." I started as they all nodded. "Well he and I showed up here a few days ago and he took me on a few dates. Then last night he asked me to be his girlfriend and I said yes." The locker room roared with squeals and laughter.
"Oh my gosh! Congrats!" Eva said hugging me.
"You two are so cute!" Nattie joined.
"I never thought I'd see Dean date. But congrats!" Rosa said hugging me.
Just then we heard a knock on the door. Rosa answered, "Delivery for Annaleigh Halliwell?"
I looked to see a young man hand Rosa a long package. She walked over to me and handed it over.
"Open it!"
"Whose it from?" I opened the package to find a single white Carnation with a piece of paper wrapped around it and a note inside the box. I took the paper, "New Orleans." I said smiling. I picked up the note and it read,

Annaleigh,

I'm so glad that I get to call you mine. I know that you're smiling at the flower and at this note. You have a beautiful smile by the way! I also know that the mystery of the Carnations is getting the better of you, but I promise that when the time is right, I will let you know. Anyways, I just wanted you to know that I am thinking of you always. Good luck tonight princess!

If I wasn't smiling before, I'm definitely smiling now!
"What's with the single flower?" Summer asked.
"It's our thing." I said smiling. "He gives me a flower and writes down a place. I don't know why though. It started when we were in Kansas City." I said.
"That's really cute! I wish T.J would do that for me!" Nattie said.
We departed and started getting ready for tonight. My phone went off and I saw a text message.

Dean: Did you get my package?

Me: Yes I did! Thank you it was very sweet!

Dean:You're welcome princess! Ready for tonight?

Me: Yep! Are you?

Dean: Always! Who are you rooting for?

Me: LOL! Now you know that's not fair! Jacob is my friend. But you're my boyfriend so of course I'm going for you.

Dean: Boyfriend. That never gets old.

Me: Cheeseball!

Dean: ☺
