Phil POV-
It's been a week since that night... the night when Dan and I had that moment, well, it felt more like years than a moment, but all the same I've been thinking about it. We haven't mentioned it, but that doesn't stop me from thinking about those beautiful brown eyes and that cute little face of his. I'm going to meet my friends in Starbucks today, something we haven't done in a while. I actually have a job now and it's been taking up six hours of my day. I'm not sure how I've been managing. Dan has a job too and we work the same hours, go figure. I get to Starbucks.
"PHIL!" Marie shouts.
"Mar!" I shout back. She flings her arms around me and I hug her back tightly.
"I haven't seen you in like a month! How are you?" She asks, pulling me over to where my friends are.
"I'm good" I answer.
"Hey Phil" Tim waves and smiles at me.
"Hey Tim" I give him a one armed hug.
"Philly!" Kenny squeals.
"Kenny" I greet, ruffling his hair before sitting down.
"Sooo, how's your job going Mr Grownup?" Marie asks.
"It's going great, tiring, but great!" I chirp.
"Yeah, yeah, enough of the small talk, I wanna hear about you and Dan!" Timmy urges. I sigh but fail to hide my fondness.
"Oh, Dan was lovely, I ship you two so hard" Marie jokes but doesn't at the same time. I hate it when she does that. Once again, Kenny stays silent.
"Guys, there's nothing to tell!" I exclaim.
"Oh, come on, you guys must've had a moment" Marie says eagerly. I sigh.
"Well, yeah, but still-"
"I KNEW IT! YOU'RE IN LOVE WITH HIM!" Tim shouts.
"Oh yeah, say that louder, maybe a kangaroo in Australia didn't hear you! And anyway, I'm not in love with him, we just had a bit of eye contact one evening" I explain.
"Come on! The way to express love is through the eyes!" Marie goes all romantic.
"Says who?" I ask.
"Marie Atter, that's who!" Tim answers the question for her. "You should tell him that you at least fancy him, who know? Maybe this might just blossom into something more!" Tim adds.
"Yeah, no" I decide. They both look disappointed. I just smile and shrug.
"Guys, what do you want to order?" Kenny asks, coming back to life after the topic of Dan is dropped. Curious. Does Kenny really not like Dan?
