Dan's POV-

"If that phone call doesn't come today I'm going to shit." I mutter, knowing Phil has woken up. He yawns and sits up, wrapping his arms around me from behind.
"I know, Danny, but we should be fine and we have time to do all this stuff." He says into my neck.
"But-"
"No." He shakes his head. I close my laptop reluctantly. He pulls me towards him.
"We have work." I say, going to get up. He pulls me back.
"It's Saturday." He informs me. Finally, I fully let myself relax into him. He kisses my cheek and I sigh contently.
"We don't cuddle enough." Phil states.
"I know, I've just been so stressed about stuff lately." I excuse.
"I know, honey." He kisses my jawline and I smile. We lay down together and I rest my head on his chest as he strokes my hair.
"You're so understanding, Phil, I dunno how you do it." I huff. He chuckles.
"I love you, that's how I do it." He tells me. I kiss his chest.
"I love you too." I grin. There's comfortable silence between us for a few moments.
"Daaan," Phil implores.
"Yeah?" I ask. He runs his hand up and down my arm.
"Do you think we could get a dog once we have our kid?" He asks.
"No." I answer.
"Is that a no as in 'you're an idiot but I love you so I'll do what it takes to make you happy', or just no?" He asks. I let out a giggle.
"No." I tut, which settles it. I guess we're getting a dog.
