I ended up going to the University by myself because Rain had to go to the hospital for his injuries. P'Sun insist on sending me to the Uni but I declined because I don't want to trouble him. He had to make a long U-turn if he wanted to send me here because the hospital and the University is a two opposite direction.

Now I'm currently sitting on the ground in front of the Engineering building while listening to the seniors talking about their experience and tips studying here. It's so boring. Is this what they do during orientation? The rest of the students weren't even listening to the seniors talking in front. Some were busy chatting with each other. Some were busy flirting with girls from other major. Some were talking selfies. All of them were socialising, except me. I have been sitting here for the past 30 minutes, listening to the boring talks of the seniors while observing the people around me.

"Hey!" I suddenly felt a tap on my shoulder

I turn around and saw a guy with a curly hair giving me a wide grin. I smiled back awkwardly

Do I know him?

"My name's June. What's yours?" He asked me

Is this how people get to know each other? You just tap their shoulder and start asking names?

"Im Kao" I replied back

He started laughing after I said my name. What's so funny?

"So you're nine inches?" He teased

[Kao- means nine in thai]

I grinned. Catching the joke he made

"No, my name is Kao" I said. Not wanting him to think that I was talking about my Kao junior

He just chuckled and nodded his head

He then turns to the guy beside him and tapped his shoulder while looking at me.

"This is Thada" he said, introducing me to the guy beside him

The guy beside him turn to look at me with an expressionless face. He is more bulkier than June.

"This is Kao" June then said to Thada

Thada just gave me a curt hello before turning back to listen to the senior talking infront.

"Kao!" June suddenly shouted while pointing at my direction

"June!"

"Thada!"

"We are a cool gang!" He shouted, making some of the students to look at our direction

What a weird guy. I thought, chuckling

"Do you want to join our gang?" He suddenly said to boy in front of him that was still looking at us

The boy immediately turn his head back to the front. Probably scared at June's weird and loud behaviour.

"Can you show me where's the water filler is? I want to fill my bottle" I asked June, suddenly remembering my empty water bottle

"Of course! We are a gang" he said

He then stood up, grabbing me and Thada with him and head towards some unfamiliar direction while the students gave us weird and nasty looks for being too loud.

My first day didn't went too bad and I guess I made new friends.

I was waiting for the other girl to finish filling his bottle at the water filler when she accidentally stepped on my shoe and spilled the water on my shirt.

What's with me and bad luck today?

"Sorry oh my gosh! I didn't see you" the girl said and hurriedly took out his handkerchief from her skirt pocket to wipe on my shirt

I was annoyed but I couldn't be mad because it was unintentional.

"It's okay, I'm fine" I told her honestly

She was still rubbing the handkerchief on my shirt, probably still feeling guilty.

"Wow Kao, we haven't even entered class yet you're already scoring yourself a pretty girl" June suddenly said from behind while wiggling his eyebrows.

I just gave tsked at him and told the girl that I'm fine.

"What's your name? I'm June" June suddenly asked the girl who spilled water on my shirt

The girl looked hesitant. Probably scared at June's straightforward personality.

"Im Sandee" she said curtly

June smile grew even wider

"What a pretty name, this is Kao-" he said while pointing at me

"-and this is Thada" he then pointed to Thada that was standing silently beside him since just now

To my amazement, Thada the expressionless guy, gave Sandee a big smile. Wow, he didn't even smiled at me when I greet him. He probably only smile to girl but he didn't smile at the girl who tried to flirt with him just now. Hmmm.

"Do you want to be in our gang?" June suddenly asked Sandee, breaking my train of thoughts

Sandee just gave Jun a weird look and chuckled at him.

"Sure, whatever. Now let's go meet my other friend, he's been waiting" Sandee said while walking towards the cafeteria

"Nice! He's gonna be in our cool gang too!" June exclaimed

Me and Thada just shook his head at June's loud behaviour and follow them from behind.

When we got to the cafeteria, Sandee went to a table where this one guy was sitting alone while playing with his phone. He looks familiar from behind.

Where did I met him?

With that messy rugged black hair, sharp jawline, pierced ears and untucked shirt....where could I met him....

Wait is this-

"Pete" Sandee called out to him

The moment he turn around, I knew that my life was fucked up

"You!" We shouted in unison

Fuck, it's the asshole I met this morning. Why does this keeps happening to me? Why am I so bad luck today. Why the fuck is he studying in the same major as me.

"Wait, you two know each other?" Sandee asked in confusion

We both looked at each other with an annoyed look and shook our head.

"No"

"Never"

The two guys just look at us weirdly and continued introducing themselves to eachother. I just sat quietly on the bench. Suddenly regretting my choice of being friends with them. If I knew that making friends would cause this kind of bad luck, I wouldn't even talk to anyone in the first place. The person I don't want to meet the most, ended up being in the same group of friends as me. Okay Kao calm down. Maybe he is not bad as you think he is. Maybe he was being an asshole just now because Rain tried to tackle his girlfriend. Who wouldn't be mad if someone tried to steal your lover right? I looked over at Pete and saw that he was giving me an intense glare.

Fuck it. He is 100% mean.

Why? Just why is my first day of University like this? I just want to graduate peacefully. Class haven't even started and I already have someone who doesn't like me. It's not that I like him either.

Okay you know what, I'm just gonna ignore him and pretend like he's one of the air components that was floating around us. Okay, I can handle that. Im good at ignoring people.

Maybe it's not so bad after all.

I hope so.
