The next day, Pete had really went to Kao's house. It was Sunday so he planned to spend his days with Kao but when he reached there, Kao wasn't at home. Only his mom and his younger sister was there. Pete suddenly feel dejected

So Kao was actually being serious when he told me not to come here. Pete thought bitterly

Did he not want to spend times with me?

Pete went back inside his car after having a coffee and a little chat with Kao's mom. Pete went to text Kao, asking about his whereabouts but Kao just replied him with the winky eyes emoji making Pete groan

You think you are some VIP huh, refusing to meet me

Pete thought while tapping on another app on his phone. It was the GPS tracker app and fortunately, Kao didnt shut his phone off this time making it easier for Pete to locate him

Blue Sky cafe again?

Why is Kao always there? Pete thought angrily

Still, Pete drove bitterly towards the direction of the cafe. His mood was sour but he still wanted to see Kao

Kao was currently wiping on the glass window inside the cafe. There were only a few customer inside so he was able to do some cleaning that he didn't manage to do during the morning since the cafe was always packed during breakfast time.

Kao was humming to the soft jazz song playing inside the cafe when he suddenly heard the front door bell chimes. Kao turn towards the direction of the door, hiding the rag behind his back to greet the customer

"Hello, welc-"

Kao's greeting halted when he saw the person coming through the door

The man just walked towards the table near Kao as he gave Kao one of his signature coy smile

"Pete, what are you doing here?" Kao asked Pete after the man had taken his seat

"Aren't you suppose to take my order first?" Pete teases Kao as Kao gave him an eyeroll

"What do you want to drink?"

Pete looked towards the menu board briefly as his eyes wandered around looking for someone. He was actually looking for P Sun, wanting to send the man his warning glare to stay away from Kao but didn't see any sight of that man

"I want an Americano with two pumps of sugar" Pete finally said after a while

Kao briefly left, going to the counter to give Pete's order to the barista behind the bar

Pete was looking at Kao tending the other customers while waiting for his drinks to be delivered. Pete took in Kao's appearance and thought that Kao looked very cute in their apron uniform. The apron was big on Kao causing the hem to reach to Kao's knee making Kao look like a dwarf. A cute dwarf. Pete didn't know that Kao was working here until he saw that Kao was wearing the same apron uniform the other waiter was wearing when he first walked inside the cafe

After 5 minutes, Kao came back with a cup of hot Americano in his hand. Kao swiftly placed the drink in front of Pete as Kao took a seat beside him

"Is it okay for you to sit during work?" Pete asked, somehow worried at Kao getting in trouble

Kao nodded

"Yeah, it's okay if theres only a few customer and nobody saw me sitting" Kao said in a hushed whisper while grinning

Pete just shook his head at Kao while blowing on his hot coffee

"How did you know I was here?" Kao suddenly asked him
