Pete woke up earlier in the morning. Waking up, somehow he felt that it was one of the best sleep he ever had. He then knew the reason why as soon as he opened his eyes. Kao was sleeping beside him, head on his arm as Kao's soft breath gently hits the skin of his neck. Pete had found himself waking up like this, next to Kao a few times before this but he didn't know why this time it felt different. It felt a little more special than before. Maybe because before this, the feelings between them weren't clear enough, maybe because before this Kao was so defensive towards him making Pete felt rejected. For the times Pete found himself waking up next to Kao, he really wanted to brush his fingers through Kao's smooth hair, he really wanted to carress his hand against the soft cheeks but always held himself back but this time, right now, he didn't feel like he had to anymore

Pete sighed softly, carressing his hand on Kao's soft cheeks, his thumb gently brushing the skin under Kao's eyes as his own eyes drifted to Kao's slightly parted lips

I kissed this lips last night

Pete smiled giddily. Feeling somehow contented with how things escalated between the both of them. Pete's wandering fingers suddenly went brushing against Kao's lower lips, reminiscing the way it felt against his lips yesterday

"Pete!" Kao exclaimed in protest when Pete dropped him off on the bed

"What? You haven't cheered me up yet" Pete said cheekily while crawling towards Kao on the bed

Kao tsked at Pete, throwing a big scowl at the predator crawling towards him as his hand went to Pete's shoulder, stopping that man from going any further

"Stop fooling around" Kao said while pinching the skin on Pete's shoulder

Pete faked hurt for a while before smiling back cheekily at Kao as he inched his face closer towards Kao

"Pete!" Kao warned yet to no avail, Pete inched even closer, a naughty smile on his face

Only when their lips were a mere centimetres away did Pete stop, halting briefly as he gaze upon Kao's face, wanting to see his expression. Only after a few seconds then Pete connected his lips onto Kao, kissing it softly, waiting for Kao to push him away or reject him but it never happened and that urges Pete to tilt his head, deepening the kiss even more, secretly smiling when he felt Kao's lips moving slowly against his

As expected, the words says other things but the action does differently. Pete thought, smiling secretly in his head

A sudden swat on Pete's hand broke Pete's moments of flashback of their kiss yesterday. Kao was annoyed that Pete kept brushing on his lips while he was still sleeping. He thought that Pete was acting too crazy by being too touchy early in the morning

Pete just chuckled at Kao's doing, peeking at the table watch behind Kao before sighing softly

"Kao, sleep a bit more. I need to go somewhere. I'll fetch you later in the afternoon before class" Pete said gently, ruffling on Kao's hair which Kao replied with a slight grunt before getting up from the bed

I need to take care of this matter first.
