Kao had been sighing for the umpteenth time for the past 30 minutes. Blushing and smiling silently when he saw the man that he had his eyes on since just now. Taking a sneaky glance whenever the man did a random gesture like flexing his muscle when carrying coffee boxes, biceps showing when he was reaching something on the top shelf. Cheeks turning red like an idiot whenever that said man caught him staring and gave him a handsome smile.

How are you so good looking P Sun

He had been stealing glances towards his long time crush, P Sun. Rain had brought Kao to his brother's cafe during the weekend because Sun was in a desperate need of a cafe worker. He would hire Kao and Rain as a full time worker right away if they're not so busy with campus works. So for now, he could only hope for Rain and his friends to help him during the weekend. It made Sun especially stressed when they are packed with customers yet he had not enough people to help him with the cafe. He only had one barista and one waiter working with him now. Kao on the other hand was more than happy to help. Even Rain thought that Kao was behaving weirdly, seeming to happy to have to work on weekend. Little did he know that his bestfriend is head over heels for his brother

The floor bell chimes, Kao's gaze averting to the door, wanting to greet the customer that just walked in but he was greeted with a cold stony expression, eyes searching around the cafe, looking for someone. His aura alone was already intimidating that Kao reverted his gaze, not wanting to continue his intention of greeting him. The person who just walked in was Mork, Rain's friend. They are studying in the same course

Kao heard a hushed whisper from behind him. It was P Sun, his eyebrows twitched when he looked at the boy who just walked in, his eyes sending glares to Rain while Rain just smiled sheepishly at him. It was the first time Kao saw the man who was always smiling like the sun had a glare on his face

Did something happened between P Sun and Mork?

"Why is he here?" Sun's voice was hushed but from his tone, Kao knew that he was angry

"You told me to bring my friends to help you" the younger one retorted

"Not him!"

"but-"

"Whatever, make sure he's doing the job right" Sun silenced his brother, giving him a  harsh glare

Kao wondered curiously, wanting to know what happened between the two man. Curious at what did Mork do for P Sun to hate him that much that even the presence of that boy alone could mess with P Sun radiant personality. The hostility between P'sun and Mork reminds Kao of an incident

Pete and me used to be like that as well

It was clear that Pete and him were not on a good terms before. Heck, Kao even punched him once and it was his first punch in a lifetime. A chuckle erupted from him, thinking about the bad encounter they had before. Funny how Pete and him became the closest among their little group of friends

Why am I thinking about that brat now. Ugh

Speak of the devil, his phone suddenly vibrated from the pocket of his pants. It was a call from Pete. Kao rolled his eyes, contemplating on whether he should answer the call or not. He knew that Pete was bored and when that brat is bored, he would always force Kao to tag along with him going to god knows where, aimlessly. There was this one time where they ended up having a road trip to Chiang Mai because Pete suddenly wanted to eat the rice specifically from the paddy field there. It was fun but he got a nice long lecture from his mom for getting back late afterwards. In the end, he still took the call after letting it ring for some time

"What?" Kao answered, not bothering to greet him

"Why didn't you answer my text?" Pete asked with an annoyed tone in his voice
