"What time does this party start?" I ask while applying my mascara precisely to my already applied false eyelashes.
"I think it starts at 8." Says my roommate Franny Arrieta. She's a YouTuber just like me and she's also my best friend. We grew up together in New Jersey, however I moved to Los Angeles a few years before she did. I had started my YouTube channel a while before her and of course she was in a few of them when I was first starting out.
I kept telling her to start her channel and move out with me but she wasn't sure about the whole thing. Finally she did, and blew up quickly, because of being in my videos.
I helped her move out and we've been living together for about a year now.
"Are you almost ready?" Franny stands behind me looking at her phone. "It's 7:45."
"I just have to get changed." I say as I smile into the mirror I was using and stand up.
"You look cute." I point at her outfit and she smiles.
