Lunch Date

"Last night was fun." Franny Says. She sits down next to me with her bowl of cereal.

"Yeah it was." I reply. "Mainly because we beat Kian and JC last night, AGAIN!"

We high five each other, laughing.

"Well it was all you, you were on fire!" She says.

I shrug my shoulders in a cocky manner.

"So what are you doing today?" She asks me.

"I actually am going to lunch with Brennen later." I reply swirling the cereal around in its milk with my spoon.

"Can you two just date already?" She smiles devishly.

"What?" I swat her shoulder. "We're just friends."

"Yeah right." She says. "If you two are just friends, then you and I are just acquaintances."

I shake my head. "Can't I have a guy friend without it meaning anything?"

"I guess but that's unlikely." She looks up at me with a serious face. "Plus he's absolutely stunningly hot."

She raises an eyebrow waiting for my response.

"Fine you know what you're right." I stand up. "Brennen and I are secret lovers and we plan to elope."

I walk over to the sink as I hear Franny scoff.

"I'm serious Candy!" She yells after me as I walk towards my room.

I flop on my bed and smile.

I'll be honest, Brennen is seriously an amazing guy and if we did date I wouldn't mind it at all.

I snap out of my daydreams when I hear my phone buzz. I squint at the bright screen and see a text from Brennen.

I was looking forward to lunch with just Brennen but I guess getting to know Colby wouldn't be so bad.

I start a hot shower and get ready for lunch:

I decide to do a light makeup look instead of going full out. I look at the time after I'm done getting ready and see it's about time to meet them for lunch. I walk out of my room and Franny is setting up her camera to start filming.

"Bye!" I wave to her.

"Bye!" She waves back.

I head out to my car and drive out to Tender Greens. The traffic is pretty light at this time so thankfully I get there at a decent time. I recognize Brennens car and park right next to his.

As I walk inside I see Brennen and Colby sitting down.

"Hey Candy!" Brennen notices me and waves me over. I walk over and sit next to him, facing Colby.

"Hey guys." I smile at them both.

We ordered and ate our food which, by the way, was delicious. While we ate, the three of us just talked.

I'm glad I have people like Brennen to just talk to. Don't get me wrong I talk to Franny ALL the time, but there's something different about how Brennen listens to me. And as we were all talking, I realized Colby was the same way.

I thought it was going to be awkward having Colby there but I kind of felt like I was able to talk freely without him judging me.

"Damn I'm stuffed." I say pushing my plate away from me and holding my stomach.

"Me two." Brennen replies.

"Me three." Colby lifts up his shirt and smacks his stomach, making Brennen and I laugh.

"Well I gotta go film." I groan as I try to stand up without falling over. "Before I slip into a food coma."

They stand up after me, agreeing.

"Hey the Trap House is having a party tomorrow night, just for fun." Colby says as we walk outside. "You guys are invited obviously."

"Cool!" Brennen Says. I look at them both with a confused look on my face.

"The Trap House?" I ask, wondering what the hell he was talking about.

"Wow Candy don't you watch my videos?" Colby playfully pushes my shoulder. "I'm just joking, it's my house that I share with Sam, Corey Scherer, Aaron Doh, and Jake Webber."

"Oh lit." I say looking at Brennen as he nods his head in approval. "I'm down."

"Ok cool well I'll see you tomorrow then!" Colby smiles and hugs me goodbye.

Him and Brennen get in Brennen's car and I get in mine and we go our separate ways.
