"Hurry up!" Franny yells from the kitchen, "We're going to be late!!"

"Technically we don't have to be there on time because we have to make it look like we accidentally bumped into each other!" I yell back and roll my eyes. I look at myself in the mirror one last time.

This'll get Colbys attention tonight.

"Damn girl." Franny says as I walk into the kitchen.

"Too much?" I ask, not that I care.

"Not at all." She says.

"Alright, then let's do this." I say. "Sam texted me saying they just got there."

"I can't believe you guys are doing this." Franny chuckles.

"Why?" I grab my keys and follow her out the door.

"I just can't!" She says. "You guys are hilarious. It's obvious you guys like each other, just tell him!"

"Then it's not a game." I shake my head and get in the car. "Then it's no fun."

"I can see where it's fun." She says, getting in the car as well. "But I can also see where it's emotionally draining."

"What do you mean?" I ask.

"You guys like each other, and would probably like to be with each other, but since you're not together, it's hard." She says. "Did that even make sense?"

I look down at my lap. "Yeah it does."

"Hey." She puts her hand on my shoulder and I look at her. "Let's win."

I smile and give her a big hug, before driving off.
