Cross my Heart

I quickly cover my face with the blanket that surrounds Crawford and I.

"It's not even that scary." Sam says.

"Says you." I scoff. "You ghost hunt for a living."

He shrugs his shoulders. "Touché."

Over the course of the movie, I would catch Colby looking at Crawford and I.

Although, It was only occasionally that I would catch him because of how tired I was getting. You know how when you are so tired that you literally cannot keep your eyes open for another second? That's how I feel.

"Candy can't even keep her eyes open anymore." Jc says. I rub my eyes and let my eyes wander aimlessly at everyone in the room.

"I'm tired." I admit.

"Duh, we can tell." Kian laughs. "Go to sleep."

I look directly at Crawford, who I hadn't even realized I was practically already leaning on.

"You're good." He smiles. I smile back before scooting my body a little closer and resting my head on him.

I gently close my eyes, getting ready to fall asleep, when the hairs on the back of my neck stand up.

I open one eye slowly and focus my vision on an angry boy.

I have to admit, his face was very intimidating, but I couldn't let that shake me, nor could I let him see he was getting to me. So, I smirk at him and wink, before drifting off to sleep on a warm Crawford.

Colby POV

I watched Candy drift to sleep on Crawford. I could feel my blood boiling. I know that Crawford really has no idea what's going on so it's not his fault, it's Candy's. She knows what she's doing and it drives me insane.

I glance at her every so often till I know for sure she's asleep. After about 10 minutes after she closed her eyes, she and also Crawford fell asleep.

"Guys." I whisper. Everyone looks my way and I point to Candy.

Their eyes wander over to her.

"What?" Jc shrugs.

"Let's pull a prank." I grin devishly.

Kians eyes light up. "A prank?"

I nod my head.

"I'm down." Kian says. He nudges Jc.

"Yeah I'm down too, kind of a bad idea to fall asleep around a bunch of youtubers." Jc giggles.

"Sam?" I look to him and he sighs.

"They look so peaceful though." He says.

I look at them and even though Sam is right, they do look really peaceful sleeping there, I want to get back at Candy just as bad.

"C'mon Sam." Kian pleads.

Sam takes one last look at the two of them and then back at the boys and I.

"Fine." He agrees.

"Great!" Kian says loudly.

"Shh!!" The three of us hush Kian. Candy stirs a little bit in her sleep.

"We don't want them to wake up." I shake my head.
