My eyes slowly flutter open to the sun shining through the window.
Why am I feeling good right now? I smile. Oh yeah.
I roll over on my back and think about last night.
I know I always say that I don't like Brennen in that way but, last night was so different.
After we kissed, we just talked. Talked about each other, our lives, everything. He took me home, and that was that.
I sit up and stretch. What did this day have in store for me?
I grab my phone and notice a missed call from Franny, but she left a voicemail.
"Hey girl you're probably still asleep because you came home pretttyyy late. But Chelsea and I were going to go get some lunch at one if you want to come with us! Call me girl."
I look at the time and it's 11:30. I text Franny, I probably should go to the lunch, I promised I would tell her if anything happened between Brennen and I.
