"You should propose to Camila," I nudged Harry as we looked at the princess cut rings behind the show glass. "One of these days. We haven't really discussed marriage. It's been a year. I think we've both have a few more years on our plates," Harry explained. "I will marry her one day. No doubt about that." An woman who seemed to be in her early fourties walked up to us. Her name tag informed me that her name was Deborah. "Hello, welcome to Diamonte's Diamonds," she gave us a bright genuine smile. "Looking for anything for a special occassion?"

"I want to propose to my girlfriend." Just actually saying that sentence in this setting made my stomach do flips. Pleasent flips. I was happy that I am taking this next step toward my future with someone as amazing as Lauren. Deborah placed her hand on her heart and smiled. "I would be absolutely honored to help you find something. How long have you guys been together?"

"Two years," I said.

"Amazing. Do you have any cuts in mind? We've got an astounding selection," she said. I shook my head.

"I don't know.. I've never done anything like this. I know she likes the rings with the square diamonds," I gestured to my ring finger as if there was something there. She laughed as though I just finished saying something funny. "I know exactly what you mean, just follow me." I walked with her until we were behind another glass case displaying shiny diamond rings on fake ceramic hands. "Do you have a preference on the amount of karats?" I shook my head, Lauren deserves the best.

"Wow, a big spender. Well, these are our ten karat diamond cut rings and those are the fourteen karat." I started observing them and figuring out which one would look great perched on Lauren's finger and then one that screamed 'diamonds are a girls best friend' caught my eye. "I want that one," I pointed. She took the diamond fourteen karat white gold ring out of the display case and let me hold it. "Is there a special someone in your life?" Deborah asked Harry.

"There is, but I'm just here supporting him. Maybe next year," he said.

"Don't think I'll forget," she said.

"Is there any way I could get something engraved?" I asked. Deborah nodded. "Ansolutely, what do you have in mind? The date you started dating, a quote?"

"Cigarettes and apple beer," I said. Harry snickered a little. Deborah stared at the both of us, confusion tracing her expression. "Oh... okay. Can I ask what that means?"

"It's what she said I smelled of the first time we met in England, and we went from her being repulsed by me to her soon being my fiancè. Don't worry, she'll get it."

"I consider that quite the transition," Harry said patting my back. Deborah nodded taking the ring back from me. "Alright. You know, I've heard stranger things. What size is she?" I dug in my pocket and pulled out the ring I took out of her jewlery box. "A four," she mumbled to herself as she jotted 'cigarettes and apple beer' onto a slip of paper. "Do you want the ring immediately?"

"I'm planning on proposing next week, so maybe within the week," I said.

It took about thirty extra minutes for everything to get finished and everything was pretty costly but worth it in the end. Deborah told me the ring will be finished in four days, so that's on Saturday. I was thinking of proposing during the house warming party.

I went out and had a drink or two with the guys before heading back to the apartment. Lauren was watching animal planet and looked extremely bored with her head resting again a fist. She turned her head so fast when I opened the door I thought she got whiplash for a second. "You're home!" she held her arms open and I walked over and gave her a hug and a kiss. "What'd you do all day?" she asked turning the tv off. I sat beside her on the sofa and fought the urge to tell her about the ring without hesitation. "Just went to the pub and had a few drinks with the guys. What about you?" I asked changing the subject. Lauren let out a breath and wrinkled her nose which is something she did when she was excited. "What didn't I do today is the real question. I went out shopping with Normani and that took about three hours and then we went to get Dinah's car inspected, then from there all of us headed out to eat. That includes Ally and Camz. Then we got our nails done," she wiggled her fingers and toes for me to view. "Then I came back here because I missed you, but you weren't even here," she explained.

"Sounds ridiculously eventful," I said.

"It was," she said.

Lauren leaned in and kissed my lips. "I love you," she said.

"I love you too, babe." Lauren was running her fingers through my hair as we continued to make out. I pulled Lauren by the waist closer to me, closing in almost all the space between us. Lauren pulled away for a brief moment and looked at me, her green eyes burning into me, full of lust. "You're breath tastes like a liquor store," she giggled but that didn't stop her as she gently bit on my bottom lip and then sucked on it. I could feel my breath as it caught in my throat and for a second I thought I stopped breathing all together. Lauren stood up and gestured for me to follow her to our bedroom where I wasted not a moment to do so.

We left the door wide open because there was no one else here to intrude on what we were about to get ourselves into. Lauren layed herself on the bed and bit in her lip, a smirk on her lips as she waited for me to join her. I slipped off my shirt and crawled into bed and onto Lauren who began undoing my pants where beneath them stood my boner. I started to suck up and down Lauren's neck as I pleasured her at the same time. A shaky moan escaped her mouth and she stopped me, pulling off her shirt and bra. I did the honors already of slipping off her shorts and lace underwear. We were both in the most intimate, personal form of ourselves. I marveled at Lauren's body, carressing every blessed curve that she possessed before I cupped her breasts in my hands and started kissing ever so slowly from her neck and down.

I've had sex with four other girls before I met Lauren and none of them can even compare to the way it felt with her. I am not even saying that because she is who I am currently with, it's purely the truth. Lauren and I aren't completely serious when we are having sex. We like to laugh and lighten the mood. We've always been jokesters and we've never been the type to talk dirty to one another. The whole "Call me daddy" or "Who's a good girl?" thing freaked us both out.

I was pinning Lauren down by grasping onto her hands tightly as I thrusted deeper into her. She didn't break eye contact not once and the sound of her moans were driving me insane and increasing my speed. "I love you," she shakily said in uneven breaths. I kissed her lips deeply and I could feel her smiling against my lips.

I woke up to no Lauren in the morning, but I smelled bacon being fried. I sat up smiling at the thought of last night. When I got to the kitchen Lauren was in one of my t-shirts, sweatpants and her hair was up in a messy bun. The usual. "Good morning," I pressed up behind her and wrapped my arms around her waist and kissed her earlobe. "Good morning to you too," she said. "I wanted to give you breakfast in bed," she frowned. "Go back to bed." Lauren gently slapped me in the arm with her spatula. "I'm not going anywhere, I am up and I am ready to start my day." I sat down at the table and smirked.

"Did you decide on the date of the house warming party?" I asked her curiously. She nodded and ripped her bacon apart, popping it into her mouth. "Next Friday at seven, be there or be square," she joked.

"I'll think about it. I've probably got plans." Lauren glared at me and if looks could kill, I'd of been a goner a while ago."I'm serious Zayn."

"Lauren, you know I'm going to be there. I live here too you know."

"Invite all your friends," she said walking over with a plate of eggs, bacon, sausage, grapes, and buttmilk biscuits on it. "Yes, because I just have such an extensive amount of friends," I laughed digging right in. Lauren made a face as she poured me orange juice. "Well the friends you do have, invite them. I already sent texts to mine earlier," she excitedly said joining me at the table. "Aren't you eating?" I asked. She shook head no, and said, "I ate earlier. I've been awake for hours."

"Why?" I questioned. Lauren and I usually woke up late in the afternoon. Lauren shrugged, "I've opted on not wasting my days sleeping and then waking up late. I took a jog and everything," I placed my hand over my heart, faking a heart attack. "Who are you and what have you done with my girlfriend?!" Lauren made a face at me and shook her head. "Don't be riduclous," I said.

I began scrolling through my phone and that's when I saw a picture of a shitzu puppy on my news feed. I slid the phone to Lauren. "We've gotta get that dog," I said.

"Once we're married, sure."

"Oh come on, can't it before then," I said. "How about when we get engaged?"

"And when's that going to be? In a million years?" she exaggerated.

"You know what, fine. I'll buy the dog without your knowledge. You're going to come back one day, and bam! a dog."

"One day," she said.
