I took Lauren out to eat and afterward I told her we were just going to take a walk. "Wait a minute," Lauren slowed the pace of her walking as we walked along the stome pathways. "I know exactly where we are. This is the place where you first told me that you had crazy intense feelings for me," Lauren noticed. "Right here," she pointed at the spot under the tree.

"That is correct," I laughed. "Thought I'd have you relive our finer moments."

"And you said that in such a little amount of time you knew that there had to be something there even if I wanted to admit it or not," Lauren said looking around. "Right there is where you almost, almost said you love me."

"Do you remember where that pavillion is that I kissed you at is?" I questioned. Lauren nodded and then spun around.

"It's back that way I'm pretty sure," she said.

"Do you wanna go see it?" I asked her and I knew the answer was already yes by the way she was tugging on my arm.

The closer we got, the more Lauren was starting to catch on somewhat. It went from "Theres people over there," to "Is that your mom?" My mom, Waliyha, Safaa, Doniya, my father and a few of my cousins, and other family members were gathered around. There were rose petals leading the way to one of the picnic tables. "What on Earth is going on?" Lauren whispered to me. I gestured for her to keep walking and she did. My family greeted the both of us and they all had huge smiles on their faces.

"Can you sit right there?" I asked her. Lauren nodded and sat down at the picnic bench outwards toward me. Doniya handed me a small box and Lauren had a knowing smirk on her face. "I should've known with all the winking going on," she said. I laughed and got down on one knee. I took her hand with my free hand.

"Lauren, my family wasn't present when I proposed to you the first time and although a series of unfortunate events led me to being able to propose to you with the watching eyes of my family, I'm happy that they get to witness this moment. Lauren, you are the light of my life and I never want to enter the darkness. I want you and I forever and I want to marry you still. I want you to be Mrs. Lauren Malik... so Lauren Jauregui will you please marry me?" I pulled open the box with the familiar ring and Lauren was tearing up, so was my family and so was I.

"Of course I will," she giggled holding her hand out toward me. I chuckled and placed the ring on her finger. Camera flashes were extremely bright at this moment. I picked Lauren up in my arms and spun her around placing kisses all over her face. "Thank you," she whispered to me.

"No, thank you."

So sorry that this chapter was extremely extremely short, I've been really busy and wanted to give you something rather than nothing, so I hope you like it and I promise that the next chapter will be long.
