I woke up and Lauren wasn't beside me and I got these uneasy feeling in the pit of my stomach that maybe she felt like this wasn't going to work out again. I grabbed my phone and saw that it was almost 12 in the afternoon. I pulled the duvet off and headed into the bathroom.

When I came out, the front door was opening and in walked Lauren. "I thought you'd still be sleeping," she said. Lauren had a victorias secret bag in her hand and a huge grin on her face. "I went back home and changed and had breakfast with my family since you have only expired food in the fridge.. I should've brought you food back but I've got something even better in this bag," she handed it to me.

"Did your parents know where you were?" I asked. Lauren nodded and ran her fingers through her hair.

"We can talk about that later, but right now I want you to open that bag."

"What.. did you catch a killer deal on bras and perfume or something?" Lauren giggled at that but was still very persistent that I opened the bag.

I dug around in the bag and pulled out a piece of paper and started reading it, my mouth dropped in shock. Lauren clapped her hands together and held them against her chin. "Do you like it?" she asked biting on her bottom lip.

"You got me plane tickets to go to London?! Of course I like it!"

"And I got myself a ticket too. I know it's been months since your family has been here and like a year since you've been there, and you being homesick was one of the issues between us, so I figured this was kind of a start." I smiled at Lauren as she explained herself.

"I love you so much," I said wrapping her in a hug. I pulled away and looked into those green eyes that always took my breath away and then for the first time in weeks our lips touched.

"So, when do we leave?" I asked reading over the flight information.

"In two days for three days. I already called off of work, and I remember you having off time, so I figured now was the best time."

"Thank you, Lauren but I could've paid."

"The money wasn't a big deal. I didn't put my half in toward the bills this month so that's what I paid with. Are you excited?" she asked.

"Beyond that. I get to see my family again and have you there."

"So you and Zayn are going to London in two days?" my dad asked walking into my bedroom. My mother was trailing right behind him. I didn't say anything, I just nodded and continued folding clothes and placing them in my small suitcase. "So what? Are you two back together? You're going to move back in?" he asked.

"We never really 'broke up', but we're working things out and I feel like this trip is really going to do some good."

My parents didn't say anything, so I thought I should. "I know it doesn't make any sense to you guys, but-"

"It makes absolute sense to us. You wouldn't believe how many times I kicked your dad out the house while we were engaged."

"She even went as far as changing the locks on me."

"We just want you to be absolutely positive that this the guy you want to marry. We love Zayn, and you know we do, and we know you love him too. We just don't want you to continue fighting."

"Yeah, it's never easy hearing your daughter cry herself to sleep at night."

"This is what I want. I want him, and I want to marry him."

"Then we will support you every step of the way," my dad said.

"You're going to make a beautiful bride," my mom smiled. I walked over to them and they wrapped me in a hug.

"I just, I didn't want you guys to think that he and I trying to work things out was stupid. I felt embarrassed because I completely moved out and now I'm going back.."

"We don't think you're stupid. We think you're in love, and you are. There is nothing to be embarrassed about," my mom patting my cheek.

"We just want the best for our kids and we raised you all well, and I think that you and Zayn will be just fine," my dad added.

"Hey, Zayn can you come to the parking lot and help me bring in a box?" I asked over the phone.

"More gifts for me?" he asked. I laughed.

"It's just some clothes and stuff."

"You're moving back in?" he asked excitedly.

"As time progresses," I smirked. "Now can you come down? It looks like it's about to rain."

"I'll be down in a second."
-
"Well aren't you an impatient little thing?" Zayn laughed approaching me as I already atarted struggling to carry the box toward our flat. "You were taking too long," I laughed. Zayn took the weight of the box out of my hands.

"The rooms a bit of a mess," I warned her as we made our way through the parking lot.

"Shocker," she teased.

"I was trying to figure out what to pack. You said it's a surprise so I couldn't really ask my mum the weather so I had to look it up and it's never really reliable, so I just packed a bunch of everything."

"Same here," I laughed. "I can't wait. I'm in dire need of a vacation.. I'm so worn out from cleaning teeth and filling cavities all day."

"I bet," Zayn nodded, then he let out a sigh. I turned to him.

"Are you okay?" I asked.

"Yeah. I'm just really excited to see my family."
