1 year and 1/2 and nobody other then a boy has arrived in the box, that is until a unthinkable mistake was made.
Eliza ended up in the Glade just like everyone else did. Wake up in a box with no memories, do...
Today was my day off, so i decided to take the first shower I've ever had in the Glade. I let Newt know and he showed me where they were, and he told me that the door had a lock and to use it when I'm in there.
The showers are on the side of the Homestead. So I had to take my extra clothes, towel, soap and shampoo I found in my closet with me.
When I opened the wooden door, the inside of the building was damp and a bit humid from the moisture. Several stalls sat in a line across the wall. Divider walls stretched from a few feet from the ceiling to the floor along with curtains covered each of their openings, giving each stall privacy.
I locked the door behind me and walked over to one of the stalls. There was a small shelf inside it for you to set your clothes on. Putting the clean clothes on one side of the shelf, I got undressed and put the dirty clothes on the other side of it.
I touched the necklace that still hung around my throat and decided to keep it on. I didn't want to lose it, and whatever was in it.
I moved out of the showers water range, turned it on, and waited for it to heat up before I stepped into it.
It felt like heaven. I could feel the stall steam a bit and once I was nice and warm I put some shampoo in my hair. I massaged my scalp and could feel all the dirt and grease get washed away.

Once I rinsed out my hair I washed my body. Even though I couldn't remember ever taking a shower before coming to the Glade, I could tell this one was by far the best one ever.
I looked around the room from what little space i had in the stall. On the ceiling where little cobwebs and a few flys buzzing around.
Once I had finished with my shower I turned off the water and dried off. I put on my fresh new clothes and dried my hair. I went back up to my shared room and threw my dirty clothes and towels into the basket.
I laid down on the bed and took a nap, followed by a dream.
It was a thunderstorm. Rain pelted down like bullets from the heavens and created massive puddles. Trees lined the aria around the road and leaves where slick on the pavement.

All I did was skip there, in the middle of it. Getting drenched in the rain, but I didn't seem to care. I was wearing a yellow raincoat and boots, and my hair was getting wet at the bottom from hanging out of my hood. I looked about 12, running and having fun.
But I wasn't alone.
Another girl was with me. She looked similar to me, just a few years younger. She wore the same coat and boots i did. Same brown hair and freckles, but instead of forest green eyes, she had pale blue eyes.

As we danced in the rain, thunder bellowed from above and lighting cracked. Without a care in th world, it felt oddly familiar.
The memory soon faded back to darkness and I woke up, turning out I had slept through the whole afternoon. Quickly writing down the dream in my journal I went and ate dinner with the rest of the boys.
Laughing at some of Winston's jokes, I felt at peace with them being around. And going to bed that night I felt ready for tomorrow.
