As Newt and I walked to breakfast I looked up at the sky.

"Do you guys ever get clouds?" I asked. The sky was its regular blue atmosphere with the sun just hanging in it.

"No, it never gets cloudy here. Only blue skys all day, everyday." Newt said.

Once we got to the kitchen we grabbed our plates and utensils and got to the breakfast line. Boys talked and I caught a few stareing.

I didn't really mind, I already know I'm going to get stared at being the only girl. The best thing I can do is just suck it up and deal with it.

They were serving pancakes with a apple on the side and cups of water. When Newt and I got our food we went back to the table we sat at the night before.

Winston, Alby, Zart, Clint, Jeff, Frypan, and Newt all sat together. I sat at a seat in between Newt and Jeff.

"You already know your going to start jobs today, so the first one your going to try will be the Slicers." Alby said.

"So you get to hang out with me today." Winston said, him being the Keeper of the Slicers after all.

We finished breakfast and were getting up to go get to our jobs. I put away my dishes and was following Winston to the Blood House when Newt grabbed my arm.

"Your stuff, remember?"

I had almost forgot, I was still in my pajamas.

"Right! I'll meet you there in a bit!" I called back to Winston. He nodded and kept walking as Newt and I went back to the Homestead.

Newt took me over to the side of the Homestead where some of the crates that came up in the box were put. A crate  with the label Girl on the side sat on some big crates Most of the boxes were big, half the size of a full grown adult; but this one was a bit smaller so you could carry it easier.

I picked it up, it had some weight to it, but was light enough for me to be able to carry.

As Newt and I took it up to our room, I felt like someone was watching me again. But despite to unsettling feeling, I just kept walking.

Once we got to our room Newt opened the door for me.

"You can pick out something for now, and just set the box by the closet so you can put the rest away later. The closet is all yours now, I only really had a basket with some dirty clothes in it and my old clothes. All the ones I wear are in the trunk at the end of my bed." He said.

"Thanks," I smiled, setting the box in the bed.

"I have to get to work, do you think you'll be able to manage on your own?" He asked leaning on the door frame.

"Yeah." I said.

He nodded and left, closing the door behind him. I saw there was a lock on it and clicked it shut so nobody could get in. The window had curtains and I closed them.
