Dressed Up To Undress

We were walking through the endless racks of dresses. I had been grabbing them and tossing them into the boys' arms. Brady and Clayton each held ten while Dalton held two. I promised to go easy on him since he knew about my plan and agreed not to say anything. My plan was to go around and try on different dresses and basically decide to hate everything all while the boys were stuck holding them. If they thought I was difficult before..

We headed towards the changing room. I took four dresses from Bradys pile and tried them on. After each one, I came back out to get their opinion. I wouldnt just accept things like 'that looks good on you' or 'i like that color', I made them tell me specifically what they liked about each dress. When I came out from trying on dress #6 from Bradys pile, he was on the phone.

"Yeah, man we're still here." Bradys said into the phone.

"Yupp dress shopping for Lyrie."

"Nah, dude save yourself!" He said with a laugh.

I grabbed the phone and saw that it was Drew. "Get your butt down here! I am not gonna let you wear one of your RVCA shirts with a blazer thrown over it to this wedding."

"That was one time!" He fought back.

"Hahaha still counts. Anyways, we're at Group USA so hurry up!"

He laughed at me, "Alright Lyrie, I'll see you in a few."

I hung up the phone and handed it back to Brady. "He's coming! I love having more helpers!" I ran back to the changing room. Two dresses later, Drew was here. I gave him a hug and directed him towards a side of the store we hadnt been through yet.

"Go check those racks for more dresses. You know my size already." I said pointing.

"You dont think you have enough already?" He asked raising his eyebrow.

"You can never have too many!" I retorted and also told Brady to go with him since I was taking his last two dresses into the room with me. They reluctantly agreed. I am so evil.

After finishing Bradys pile and being 3 dresses in for Clayton, the boys finally came back. They held 4 more. "Too long, too sequiney, too orange, but the last one will do, thanks!" I smiled and sent them back. Dalton and I shared a look as he was trying to stifle his laughter.

I had a text when I got back into the room. It was from Dalton. "You are way beyond evil. ;P" it read.

I laughed and replied, "Oh hush! You know you're enjoying this :)"

I put on the dress Brady and Drew brought me. It was long but not too long. It was a dark purple color with a sweetheart neckline. It tied around my waste. I actually kind of liked it. Nice job boys. But I bet they were just randomly picking ones in my size and got lucky.

I got through Claytons pile rather quickly. Some of them didnt fit. Stupid weird sizing. While showing the last dress, I told Clayton he would be joining Drew and Brady with their search. They brought me a few more and I went back to the room. I came out to show Dalton the next one and glanced over in the direction of the rest boys. It looked like they were having a disagreement.

"No, I dont like that color on her." Brady said.

"What are you talking about, this color will make her eyes pop!" Drew argued.

"No one is gonna be looking at her eyes with that neckline. We're going to a wedding not a strip club." Clayton chimed in.

I couldnt believe it. They were really arguing over what this dress would look like on me. I looked back at Dalton and we both died of laughter. The boys noticed and looked our way. "What?" They said in unison.
