"I never thought you would stick it out with me

Now this is something that you're barely handling

When you're walking to the door just kick me out

This is something that we always talked about

Now I know you were always there for me

This is something that you're barely handling

When you're walking to the door just kick me out

Lets sing it together, Lets sing it out"

I woke up to the sound of my phone ringing. By the sound of the ringtone, I knew it was Brady.

"Hello..." I mumbled still half asleep.

"Were you still alseep?" He sounded confused.

"Yes. Why?" I was too tired for chitchat.

"Lyr, Its almost 2 in the afternoon..." What. The. Fuck? "Anyways, where are you?"

"Im at home."

"You with Dalton?"

"No, of course not...he went home." Why did that sound guilty?

"Well do you mind going to wake his ass up. Practice was suppose to start an hour ago."

"Oh shit.." The boys had booked a show the day before the wedding in Chicago since the wedding was an hour outside of there. "Yeah, just give me a few to get ready and I'll go get him." I sat up in bed.

"Okay thanks. See you in a bit." We hung up.

I grabbed some clothes and took the fastest shower of my life. I tried Calling Dalton but it went straight to voicemail. Dammit Dalton, you need to learn to charge your damn phone. This must be the reason they wanted me to go wake your ass up personally. I found my keys and drove to Daltons house. I knocked on the door and his mother answered.

"Hi Mrs. Wixom! Dalton awake?"

She embraced me in a hug before answering, "No, I believe he's still asleep."

"Perfect." I said and went up the stairs to his bedroom.

He was fast asleep on his back, his head tilted to the side and his blanket only covering his bottom half. I smiled. He was kinda adorable when he slept. I felt almost bad for what I was about to do. Almost. I dropped my bag, took off my shoes and got a running start to leap onto the bed, er rather, him.

I pounced and his eyes flew wide open. "What the fuck?!" He shouted.

I looked down at him innocently, "Good morning my dear!"

The expression on his face told me that he hated me. I kissed him on the forehead and plopped down next to him. "You ready for practice?" I said enthusiastically.

He glared at me and pulled the covers over his head.

I laughed, "Okay, okay Im sorry." I took the covers from his face.

He was smiling now, "I seriously cant believe this is how you came to wake me up."

"Well maybe if someone knew how to charge their phone, I wouldnt  have to resort to such clever antics."

He checked his phone and sure enough it was dead. "Damn, must've forgotten to plug it in this morning," he said while now putting it on the charger.

"Come on, you gotta get up. Brady sent me here to get you."

"I should've known," he laughed. "But what if we just stay here and sleep? Sound more appealing?" He pulled my down to lay next to him.
