Author's Note

I want to thank all of my fans and other readers for enjoying this book and keeping up with it. It was really hard to finish it as I fell in love with the story and continuously felt supported and confident from all of you as I wrote it. This book started out as an experiment and didn’t plan on really doing anything with it until it got noticed by a friend and she encouraged me to work on it more.

This book takes me back to my own troubled background as instead of a ‘bad boy’ I was a ‘bad girl’ and though everything is different nothing very similar to my own story in this book it was still personal for me and I loved how my characters and story turned out. I couldn’t have gotten it this far without all of your encouragement and enjoyment of the book. I don't like doing author's notes during the chapters so I save it for the end of the book.

Funny Fact: On Micro Soft Word Under the surface is 311 pages long, and 148,914 words long lol.

So thank you and stay tuned for the sequel. It will be called ‘Breaking the Surface’. I have no set time frame to start it and I want to surprise you all anyways when I do.
