Jenna's first class started at 12:00 that afternoon. The classroom looked more like an auditorium with tables reaching at least 10 rows back in the shape of a Wi-Fi icon. She decided that the lesson would be on ancient Western Asian myths. She was excited, this was her favorite topic.

Jenna stood in the passage looking through the glass window of the door. She watched her students file into class either in groups or one at a time. This was not unusual for Jenna, she always had a class that was filled to capacity, students did not even mind sitting on the floor and she could never figure out why. Even though she hadn't taught in two years, her hands were on fire. She was hot and cold at the same time. Hands sweating profusely.

"Get a grip Jenna, they just students, you've been in far worse situations." She tried to reassure herself by saying it out loud.

Jenna's style in clothing consisted of jeans, boots and a t-shirt. Today she wore a not so tight black jeans with a black belt that housed a skull for a buckle, tan cowboy boots, a loose white t-shirt tucked in at the front hanging loosely at the back and a tan suede leather fringe jacket. Her messy bun complimented the look. She was a natural beauty and never required makeup but preferred a light gloss on her lips.

She walked in and her class went quiet. She was expecting the silence as this was a normal phenomenon when she walked in to a room. "Hello everyone, I'm Professor Edwards". A few students waved, she waved back and smiled. She placed her bag on the desk and stepped forward.

"Many years ago, I had the privilege of being taught by one of the most profound professors in South Africa, Professor Sakkie Cornelius. He always started his lectures in the first semester with these words." she said pacing up and down as she memorized her students faces.

"Some of the oldest myths and epics originated in ancient Western Asia more than 5 millennia ago. Myths and epics allowed people to make sense of how the world came into being and how it works. These types of literature help people to understand their world. They are important for an understanding of any culture, because they "explain" the origin of the cosmos, world view and political ideologies".

As she taught her class, she paced back and forth gesturing with her hands.

At one point she took off her jacket and threw it at her desk. She missed and her class erupted with laughter. She dismissed it with her hand and started teaching again.

In the corner of her eye, she saw Michael sitting at the back, top row, left corner. As she spoke, she looked directly at him and he looked back at her holding her gaze. Michael was so taken by his Greek goddess, however he was sure she had no interest in him which was nearly impossible for him to comprehend. He leaned forward taking in every word.

He watched the way she spoke with her tattooed hands. Her name was tattooed on the side of her right arm near her hand in some sort of script. The other, had a long line of words that he couldn't see clearly. When she moved, he could see a tattoo just under her collar bone.

'How can someone so beautiful defile her body in that way', he thought. It peeked his interest and his mind wondered to what it would be like to see it up close or touch it. He felt hot at the thought.

As he looked around the class, he realized that the students were participating in the lecture and this was not something he saw when he was teaching. The students asked questions, she answered. They laughed at her stories and then scribbled or typed whatever she said that interest them.

"Professor Edwards?' one student stuck up her hand.

"Yes, Emily is it?"

"Yes, how did you know my name" the student asked.
