Anything For You

Part 13

"Jenna are you in the shower?" Michael yelled from the kitchen.

"I'm nearly done" she yelled back as the door clicked into place. Michael chuckled to himself when he hears the shower being turned on.

He picked up the picnic basket, threw the blanket over it and walked out to the car. After packing the goods in the car, he remembered the cooler box and when he was about to walk back to the house, his new neighbour waved at him. Michael waved back and he watched in horror as his neighbour walked over to him in a white nightgown and slippers. The nightgown flapping as he walked revealing his bulging stomach and multicolored boxer shorts.

"Hi, I guess we're neighbours now? I'm Jeff." He stuck out his hand and Michael shook it. The overgrown hedge that separated their properties was a welcomed relief from the unsightly figure behind it.

"Hey, I'm Michael."

"Bought this house for a real bargain! How long do you have your house?" Jeff asked pointing.

"I bought my house a few years back", Michael replied.

While he was speaking to Jeff, Michael felt a familiar sensation in the pit of his stomach as Jeff's eyes shifted slightly past his face. His mouth opened slightly.

"Fuck!" Jeff's eyes widened.

When Michael turned he saw Jenna skipping down the steps with his camera in her hands. Her white strappy t-shirt desperately trying to hold her breasts in place as she skipped taking one step at a time. Her black jeans accentuating her perfectly shaped legs. Michael looked back at Jeff and smiled shaking his head.

She walked directly to Michael holding his gaze without giving any sort of recognition to Jeff.

"Hello love" she declared and Michael watched her eyes soften. She held out her hand for Michael and he happily took her hand in his pulling her to him. She kissed him fully on the lips and heard a gasp coming from the other side of the hedge. She turned to Jeff, smiling.

"Hi, I'm Jenna" she smiled watching Jeff nod like one of those bobble heads people have in their cars or on their desks and turned back to Michael. "We really have to go now love or we'll be late." Michael grinned and kissed her again.

"It was nice meeting you." hugging Michael, her head on her shoulders and facing Jeff.

"You're so weird" he whispered into her ear. She giggled.

Michael and Jenna walked back to the house and while Michael showered, Jenna tidied up. Half hour later, they were packed and ready for the day.

They made their way to the greengrocer and while Michael bought some things for their picnic, Jenna convinced the owner and his wife to pose in front of their store while she took pictures of them. The owner proudly pointed at his neat display of fruit and vegetables while Jenna clicked away.

The elderly couple held each other as Jenna showed them the pictures on the screen of Michael's digital camera. Jenna mimicked the owners pose in one of the photos and her booming laughter had a trigger effect on the elderly couple. They hugged and kissed her on both cheeks when she promised to bring them the photos once she had them developed. Michael watched her, falling in love with her slowly.

"Portalo con te, Jenna (take it with you)" the owner handed her a bag of apples and she gladly took them kissing his hands.

"Grazie mille (thank you ever so much). Zietta (aunty) Maria, you better watch this man of yours, he is very cute, and I might just take him away from you!" she laughed as 'zietta Maria' hugged her again. Michael and Jenna waved them goodbye and walked back to the car.
