Michael led Jenna to his bedroom, her heart racing as followed. "Where are we going? I'm not ready for this Michael." She murmured tugging at him.
"Jenna, I would never pressure you into anything okay. I just thought maybe I could hold you while you slept." He said pulling her to him and she smiled her sweetest smile.
"Oh, that actually sounds really great. Let me change first and I'll meet you back in your room." She grinned.
"Alright." Michael let go of her hand and watched her walk away. He felt the loneliness in him disappear and his soul quieten down now that she felt the same way about him as he did about her.
A few minutes later, Jenna slid into bed next to him. Jenna lay on her side to look at Michael and he turned to her tucking his arm under his head. She moved in closer to him and her body ignited again, a fire burning hotter every time she touched him. She moved her legs between his and he obliged by moving with her. Michael's body was warm and the feel of his hand on her back under her t-shirt was exquisite.
She lay her head on his chest as he moved his arm from under his neck to hers, holding her to him. He kissed the top of her head as she rubbed his chest. It was smooth and chiseled. She felt his hands move from her shoulder to her hair, stroking it like a baby. She had never felt this secure in all her life.
The sun crept through the slits in the binds forming tiny spot lights on Jenna's face. She stretched and felt Michael move behind her. She tried to move away but there was a heavy weight across her waist and she could feel his legs entwined in hers. She looked down and realized that Michael was holding her. His soft snoring in her neck had its own light rhythm and she lay still to hear more. She closed her eyes taking in the sound of the man she was consumed with.
She lifted his arm off her waist and moved her legs slowly from him and gently slid out of bed. He moved slightly but not enough to wake up. She stood watching him sleep for a moment and crept softly to the bathroom. She turned on the shower and let the sensation of the steamy water calm her. Her mind was consumed with Michael again and she was unsure of how she really felt about him.
Jenna's inner thoughts
Sleeping next to Michael last night calmed the chaos in my mind and I no longer feel strange. I feel peaceful for the first time in so long. Watching and listening to Michael in his bed made my insides stir and the euphoria of his touch awakens something inside of me. Something I didn't know was there.
The chaos in my head is no longer just calm, it seems locked away for now and I feel alive. How is this possible? How could Michael enslave me the way that he does? How is it possible for me to allow him to do this? Is this really what I want? To give myself to one person?
There are so many questions in my mind and I don't know the answers to any of them. I have travelled the world, I have met so many people, all of them echoes and those echoes have all faded away.
Will Michael become an echo? Will he fade into the back of my mind once he gets to know me better? Should I take the chance? I'm so confused. Michael confuses me.
After finishing up in the bathroom, scrunching her hair into a messy bun, she brushed her teeth and moved to her room to dress. Jenna's phone rang and she hurried to find it hoping that the ringing wouldn't disturb Michael's sleep. She found it and crept silently to the kitchen switching on the coffee pot.
"Hello?" she whispered.
"Hi, it's me." A deafening cheerful voice on the other side confirmed it was Candice.
