More Than A Friend?

•Shuichi's POV•
It's been at least an hour before Kokichi fell asleep and in that hour, I've just been staring at him through the camera..

Grinning a wicked smile, I got up from my seat and walked out of the room leaving where the secret room is, there's no point in worrying if someone sees him anyways— there's no one here, their all asleep and if there was one person...

Then I'll kill them.

I walked up to Kokichi's room and silently opened the door, quickly but quietly trying to close the door to avoid waking him.

I sat by the sleeping male and stared above his face.

"Mmmm.." Kokichi spoke out from his dream, not noticing that someone was watching him.

By Kokichi's response, Shuichi wanted to scream in 'Awe!!' So instead, he slowly lifted Kokichi's chin close to his face and pressed his soft lips onto his own.

Surprisingly, Kokichi didn't seem to notice.

Because it was almost time to wake up, Shuichi had to leave sadly but he knew he would see him again.

"Good Night, Kokichi.."

•No One's POV•
Morning
Kokichi woke up feeling a bit off, but he shook it off anyways since he usually feels like that.

He got up an went out of the room and decided to wander around the academy since he was the only one who woke up earlier than everyone.

•Time Skip•
Finally, everyone was awake and was eating their breakfast.

They were all enjoying each other's company (apart from Kokichi obv) and were just chatting while Shuichi sat opposite Kokichi while talking to Kaede.

Kokichi couldn't help but wonder to why Saihara even bothered to tolerate with him even though Shuichi didn't mean to since it was all an act.

But Kokichi didn't know about that..

Did Shuichi think of him as a friend? He wondered

Or perhaps he liked him more than a friend..?

Kokichi looked up from his plate and stared at Shuichi who has yet to notice his curious eyes.

No..

It's not possible..

There's no way Shuichi Saihara, The Ultimate Detective, can even like Kokichi that way. Not even as a friend..

That's what Kokichi had thought..
