“Is everything alright with him, he hasn’t replied to any of my message” I said to Lucy in a worried tone
.
“May be he is busy with all this” Lucy said caressing my hand.
“I think your are right, I shouldn’t worry”
“I think I should go now Bryan must be waiting for me” Lucy said.
“Yeah ok” I said smiling.
I was still worried for Zach, how he would be handling all this, he hasn’t even replied to any of my text, with all this thoughts I led myself to sleep.
It was 6:00 am I was drinking coffee on my deck with a perfect view, I looked at my phone and still I haven’t received any message from Zach.
“I should worry less everything is fine” I murmured.
I hit shower and then headed towards office, I was feeling so bad as I won’t be seeing Zach there.
When I reached office I saw an unknown face and ask Ash about him.
“He is our manager till Zach is in Edinburgh” she said.
“Oh okay” I said shockingly.
I kept myself occupied with work so that I won’t feel absence of Zach, as I was leaving I saw a hand extended towards me, when I chin up he was the manager who is a supplement till Zach is in Edinburgh.
I shook his hand and passed a gentle smile.
“How are you, Astrid” he said smilingly.
How he knows my name, I haven’t even introduced myself to him, then suddenly my phone flashed it was a message from Zach. My face had the biggest smile when I saw his name popped up.
“Boyfriend?” he asked.
None of your fucking business and why the hell he is saying like this to me I said to myself but somehow I maintained smile on my face, “no, just a friend”.
He nodded his head, “so, want to have dinner with me?” he asked.
Is he hitting on me and seriously I wasn’t interested in him, he was smart but not as smart as Zach, God I miss him so much. He snapped his fingers in front of me and I was back to the reality. “Sorry, but I already have plans with my friends” I said.
“Ok no problem, some other time” he smiled.
I didn’t utter a word but I nodded and smiled and turned my heels and I saw Ash standing there smiling at me. I rolled my eyes at her.

I was sitting on deck with whiskey and was staring at Zach's message but I didn’t replied because I thought may be he was busy and I don’t want to disturb him, so I left his message on read.
