The Wedding

I glanced myself in the mirror. I could barely recognize myself. I was wearing a very elegant white princess gown made from very finest silk. The whole gown was engraved with crystals and intricate embroidery. The famous designer who made my gown made sure that it looks like a princess's gown and it was surreal.

My hair was curled up in a bun which was clipped up with very small white flowers clips which belongs to my mother. I am wearing an elegantly beautiful diamond necklace. Under the dress I wearing a Lace garter on my right thigh.

I looked like a princess. And today I will officially belong to Zach. Today I was missing my parents, they both died in a car accident a few years ago ,my Dad who had always thought of walking me down the aisle but when this day has finally come, he is not with me. I was missing them so much.

Bryan entered the room, he stared at me for a while, “you look so beautiful Ash” He hugged me.

“I know” I said to him and then he led me outside of the mansion .

A car was waiting for us outside. Bryan and  I settle ourselves in car and we drove towards where ceremony is going to be held.

I stepped into the hotel and my breath was taken away. It was surreal, I haven’t even imagined this in my dream that one day I will be having this grand wedding and this is all possible because of Zach.

I have imagined earlier like how this place will look like but the final result was beyond what I imagined it would be.
White chairs were  filled, where our friends and relatives were all seated. The aisle was decorated by white lilies. A classical music is being played by a choir of cellos, violin and piano. When I entered every body stood up and looked at entrance.
Bryan squeezed my hand and smiled at me.

I smiled at him and then he  walked me down the aisle. As I walked rose petals were dropped from the ceiling. It was breathtaking and it was all like I imagined… probably even better.

Many of my relatives and friends were in tear watching me walking down the aisle.
I stared ahead and saw Zach, he was looking breathtaking in a white silk suit. His cousin Connor was standing behind him.

Zach was continuously watching me and I felt like walking towards my eternity, walking towards my world.
Bryan took my hand and placed in Zach’s hand and then he guided me towards the altar.

Zach and I intertwined our hands and I still couldn’t believe that it is happening for real.

“You are looking beautiful love.” Zach said looking intensely at me.

“You too” I smiled. And now it was time to take vows. I was so excited for this as I’ll be pouring my heart out in front of everyone, what I feel about him.

“ Zach… I will be forever thank you for loving me and  to make my world full with love. I love you so much Zach Wesley and I will love you till my last breath…more than anything else in this world.” Tears were glistening in my eyes as I said the words. Tears brimmed Zach’s eyes too . He squeezed my hand in his.

“Astrid.. the day you walked into my life, my life has totally changed. You are everything I needed. You are my princess, my perfect match and my best friend. I promise to always be the man that you fell in love with. I promise to take care of you.”.
Zach’s vows went out of my heart. I know that he meant every word. And I could feel his love for me in every promise we made.
Finally we put our rings on each other's fingers.
“I pronounce you as husband and wife… you may kiss the bride.”

Zach lifted my veil. His eyes were brimming with tears and I was crying too. But we both were crying happy tears. Everyone was cheering for us. They all were so happy for us.

He leaned forward and then he gave me a gentle kiss on the lips. When the kiss ended Zach leaned  his forehead against mine and said “ my wife Astrid Wesley.”
I smiled at him, “my husband Zach Wesley.” I replied.
