Pain of loosing Zach was worse than being cheated on by Paul. At least I have the right to be angry on Paul but I have no right to be angry at Zach no matter how bad I was hurting.

Even Zach’s mother try her best to reach me out. It’ so unfortunate that we met each other for the first time at the hospital same day when Zach had a car crash. His mother and me we both formed a strong bond on the same grief we shared  Loosing Zach, I know It will completely crush her, if she lost him after her husband
It was crushing me too. It’s because of me that Zach had this car crash. He was so angry when he left home.

And they all were making sure that I don’t lose hope. Trying to make sure I will not do anything stupid. Like jump off a cliff and kill myself.

I remembered after I received the call, I immediately proceeded to the hospital. My hands were shaking . My heart was pumping loudly inside my ribcage. Tears continue to stream right down my face but I couldn’t even whimper. I was too scared to even make a sound.

Zach’s mother puts her arm around me and we went into a  lounge to wait for Zach’s injury. Zach’s mother have been so nice to me and she gave me strength that Zach would survive this.

A Doctor arrived at waiting room.

“Surgery is done. He is stable but still unconscious.”

Relief washed through me. Tears kept rolling down my cheeks. I hugged Zach’s mother. We went inside to see him. He was lying unconscious and then he opened his eyes. We were all crying at the same time. It was such a relief to see him get through a terrible accident.

Her mother hugged him and then finally his eyes landed on me. I smiled at him with all the love that I have in my heart for him. A glitter lit in his eyes. He narrowed his eyes and continued staring at me.

Finally, he opened his mouth and asked, “Ash what are you doing here.”
“I am here for you Zach.” I said moving slowly towards him. Her mother then leave the room keeping us together alone.

Tears continue to stream right down my face. I stood at the foot of his bed. Zach stared at me for a long time. He was studying me. My heart pounded in my chest and I realized that I wasn’t breathing properly.

When I looked into his eyes, I could see the usual emotion he used to have whenever he looked at me. His expressions were full with love and tenderness. I bit my lip hoping desperately that he would say something.

Then finally he took a deep breath and said, “ where is your ring.”

“I.. I broke off with him.” I stuttered as I wasn’t expecting him to ask me this.

“What but why?” he said gently, though it sounded like he was relieved.

“He was having sexual relationship with Caroline behind my back.” I said weakly.

“Son of a bitch.” He said angrily. I could recognize the emotion in his voice and he sounded like he was so angry at him.
He stared at me and then he said, “ I am always there for you love, I guess we belongs to each other.” And then he kissed me on lips. I closed my eyes as I wanted to feel it.

My heart pounded in my chest as he kissed me. He looked into my eyes and I saw a glitter of emotion there. I hugged him and rested my head on top of chest.“ Nobody can apart us.” He said caressing my hair with his fingers. I looked him into his eyes and kissed him on his temple.

“Yes and I am so sorry that I didn’t listen to your side and I was in relationship with Paul.”

“You Don’t have to feel sorry love, what matters is that now you and I belongs with each other.” He said kissing my forehead.
