Astrid

Today I was planning to propose Zach. I wanted him to be mine forever. In these 2 months I  have created such a strong bond  with him and his mother.

And I have found my dream man, and it was Zach. I was very upset about things that took place between us earlier but now everything is fine and now this is the time that I’ll propose to him for marriage.

I was excited and nervous at the same time. I changed myself into a red dress, I applied red lipstick and left my hair natural which were falling on my shoulders. I looked myself into the mirror and I was looking stunning and my curves were also perfectly flaunting.

Then I heard Zach’s car horn. He was right outside my apartment I was excited to see him. I walked towards his car. He opened passenger door for me and he looks astonishing. He wore a black leather jacket and blue faded jeans. He was looking perfect. And his masculine body was just perfect. I settled myself into his car, he walked around and then he sat besides on driver’s seat.

“where are we going.” I asked.

“Just wait and watch love.” He said shushing my mouth.

“okay…”

I rested my head and all I was thinking was how I’ll propose to him as I was so terrified. Breathe in. Breathe out. I murmured. After few minutes we reached to our place. Building looks posh and absolutely impressive. The man standing by the door greeted us cheerfully and gave us a bright smile.
Then we went inside the lobby of the building, the interior design of the building was so adorable from the marble floors down to the furniture.

Hmm Zach is quite rich. I muttered. Though I didn’t had any idea about this at first that he has chains of restaurants in Edinburgh. I had known him as my manager whom I had fallen at the first sight.

When elevator opens, Zach swiped the card. I closed my eyes and willed myself to keep calm. Finally elevator opens to the roof top of the building. What I saw just blew me away. There were roses and lighted candles all over the place. The roof has the perfect view of the city. There is a table in the middle set for two.
He slowly turned towards me and intertwined my fingers with his .

“Zach…” I muttered. But he shush my mouth with his finger. He leaned forward and gave me a thorough kiss on the lips. I couldn’t help it I was crying again. It was surreal and it was so romantic.

After the kiss we approached towards the table.

“You are so romantic Zach.” I stared back at him.

“Yes I am but only for you babe.” He said kissing my temple.
We ate the food and it was so delicious. And now it was my turn to do something for him. I got down on one knee. Though I was so terrified.

“Zach, I will forever thank God that you came into my life. And to love me endlessly. And I want to spend my rest of my life not as Astrid Hale but as Astrid Wesley.” I paused looking at him wistfully. And then I asked, “will you be my husband?”

His eyes sparked with surprise and Love  , he holds me by my shoulder and said, “ if you want this then do it the right way.”

I was confused, what does he meant with the right way, did I do it the wrong way?.
And then he went down on his one knee and muttered, “look at the sky.”
I looked at the dark sky and nothing shows up and then suddenly fireworks happens and “will you Marry  me” was written all over the sky. Rivers of tears are streaming down my cheeks.  And then he take out beautiful diamond ring and asked, “will you be my wife.”

“yes it would be an honor to be your wife, to be Astrid Wesley.” I said crying.

He took my hand and placed ring on my finger. Then he brought it to his lips and kissed it. He stood up on his knees, he caught me and spun me around. When he settled me on my feet I asked.

“Were you also planning to propose.?” I asked.

“Yes love and your proposal was so adorable.” He said kissing my temple.
As I don’t have so much money to burn in fire shots and all, so I kept my proposal simple. I was so happy today. I hugged him tightly.

“ I love you Zach “ I said.

“ I love you more.” He said kissing my forehead. Then he leaned forward to kiss me on the lips again.

“Now how soon do you think you we can  plan our dream wedding?”

“So soon” I laughed.

“And I think we should get married in 3-4 months.” He said.

“ But Zach that’s so fast. I mean all the arrangements and all it needs time.” I replied.

“You don’t have to worry about that love. Leave that on me. The sooner you become Astrid Wesley the better.” He laughed. I felt so lucky and so blessed that someday I will found my dream man.
