okay so growing up, i was the biggest miley Cyrus stan ever. i've literally grown up watching her and listening to her music but this woman is full of shit now.
i liked her throughout many of her phases and even supported her during the bangers era but this new miley is trash.
okay so let's just get it out the way. miley cyrus paved the way for all these disney girls. she literally took to bullet for all of them. without miley cyrus swinging naked on wreaking ball, there would be no ariana grande talking about "side to side", no selena gomez naked on her album cover, you get the point.
her episode on black mirror was amazing and i really liked it.
now that all the good stuff is out the way let's talk about the new miley.
i don't know why but it seems like miley is literally hanging onto her past self to make a name for her new one. remember when miley was so anti hannah montanta in 2014 but now it's the only thing she has to support her career?
2022 Update
I've dragged Miley in the past but after she released Plastic Hearts, all prior sins were forgiven. She dropped the one of the albums of the year and people paid it dust? I'll never forgive y'all for calling it Forever 21 music 😭
I keep going back to her Tiny Desk because her cover of 'Fade Into You' was IMMACULATE. Miley is a fucking vocalist and could run circles around each of your childstar faves. I think she should keep this current sound.
