Prologue

It was a dark and stormy night...

Perfect weather for a new evil to rise...

He grew mad...

For each second his thoughts were screaming bloody murder, he grew more and more insane...

His eyes bloodshot and wide-eyed...

His smile growing into a huge disturbing upturn grin...

The only thing that was on his mind was the thought of spilling blood...

Fresh blood...

M/N(Mom's name) was well aware of her husband's curse. She knew this day would come, but she was sad of the timing...

Their 2 month-old daughter laying upstairs in her crib in a peaceful sleep...

She is unaware of this curse that burdens her family tree, that now lies within her...

M/N did the best she could to stop D/N from reaching their daughter and herself. She called an old sensei for help...

Wu arrived just in time to stop D/N from reaching his only child, but not in time to save M/N...

He fought D/N and left him in his home unconscious for the police to get him. Wu grabbed the child and flew away on his elemental dragon. He headed to the monastary and asked his brother for help on what to do with the child.

Garmadon suggested on finding any family members that didn't have the curse to take care of her or an orphanage.

Wu and Garmadon spent 2 months taking care of the baby girl looking for any known relative that hasn't fallen under the curse yet.

They were successful with finding a relative. It was her mother's cousin, Ivy. They quickly contacted her and explained their whole situation.

Ivy agreed to take of her. A four-month baby girl delivered to her doorsteps. She took the child in as her own.

The baby reminded her so much of her mother when they were children. She remembered her mom saying that she always wanted a daughter named Y/N. So that's what Ivy did, in honor of her mother she called her Y/N.

She sang lullabies that Ivy's and M/N's grandmother would sing to them as kids. It's one of the few things Y/N still had of her mom.

Y/N was a little bit of a handful as a little girl. She would always play with her neighbors, go on crazy adventures, and always told the best stories. She got into trouble a lot because of her energetic and bubbly personality. But that's what Ivy loved most about her, so she would just tell her to take it down a few before letting her be.

The day after Y/N turned 7, Ivy told Y/N about what happened to her parents but not why it happened. Soon, Y/N has always and forever hated her father. Ivy said nothing to defend him, knowing it wasn't the right time yet to tell her about the curse.

Years later, a 12 year-old Y/N found her love for singing. Others who listened to her noticed how angelic it was. Ivy still saw so much of her mother in her. She started singing the lullaby Ivy sang to her as a kid while helping doing her chores or homework. Singing made her feel closer to her mother than ever, even if she was gone.

Y/N had an amazing childhood and it was all thanks to Ivy, but she knew that someday before the once baby girl turns 18, she had to tell her about the family curse.

The young woman was in high school and even though Ivy feared for her safety, she knew she would be alright... somehow.

Y/N had eyes for a certain blonde teen in her class. She never thought he'd notice her, but it was good to dream. As long as she had B/f/n(Best friends name) by her side, she could do anything.

Even if she thinks she had no parents and no chance with the boy of her dreams. She still believed in herself and in others around her. Like sunshine warming the earth with its rays of light. Life was good...so far...

Hey guys its ya author speaking and this is my first story haha, could you tell???? Oof, I honestly have an idea of where this story will go but just warning you now, I dont know where it'll go. Hopefully it'll be good and writer's block is fun too lol am I right???
