Lloyd's POV

Earlier that day

Ugh, I've been searching everywhere in the area for Y/n but she's literally no where! Not even a single trace of tracks or a clue left behind. This is really frustrating! I decided to go to her house to speak with Ivy. Maybe Ivy has an idea...

I hopped off my dragon when I arrived at her house. I was still wearing my mask and in my ninja gi, so I have to introduce myself as the green ninja. I walk up to the porch and knock on the front door. I heard footsteps on the other side of the door. It opened with Ivy hiding behind it, scared of who the visitor was.

"Who is it?" She asked with her voice a little shaky. Is someone after her? Does she know Y/n has been taken?

"Ma'am, it's the Green Ninja. Will you please open the door so we can talk?" I asked her politely. She nodded and opened the door a little wider so I could come in. I walked in and as soon as I was fully in the house, she slammed the door shut and locked it. I furrowed my brows. She was breathing heavily and looked like she hadn't slept for a while. It's only been one day of Y/n's disappearance and she's losing it!
"Ma'am, are you okay?" I ask Ivy calmly. I hope my calm tone will help her relax a bit. She takes a deep breath and clutches her shirt.

"I-it's a long story, Mr. Green Ninja. I just lost someone who was like a daughter to me. She was in an accident and the police can't find her anywhere..." she began explaining but started sobbing. I walked over to her and patted her shoulder for comfort.

"I understand, miss. The ninja force are doing everything they can to find her. But I need your help as well." I said while taking my hand back. She looked up from her palms and wiped the tears away, followed by a few sniffels.

"What do you need from me?" She asked while crossing her arms and walking to the living room.

"I'm going to ask you some questions that I'm hoping might help us." I explained. She nodded and gestured for me to sit down.
"First off, did she ever come home around the time after the accident?" I ask. She shook her head.

"Last time I saw her was that morning before she went to school." Ivy explained. I nodded.

"If it was possible that she ran off, are there any specific places she could've gone to? Besides home?" I asked her while fiddling with my thumbs. She changed her gaze to the ground and started tearing up a bit.

"She um, really likes to go to her best friends house. And there is Central Park, she always loved going there as a child. Those are the only few places I can think of at the moment..." she explains while holding back her sobs. Seeing Ivy talk about Y/n while tearing up, is making me tear up. I'm worried for Y/n as well, even if she doesn't want to be with anymore...I still do. I nodded to acknowledge Ivy's suggestions.

"Thank you ma'am. We'll find her, don't worry. I'm sure she's not in any real danger." I try to assure Ivy. I know I'm totally lying because D/n is definitely behind all of this somehow, but I don't want Ivy to worry. She nodded to my reassurance and changed her gaze to the ground. This is really odd behaviour for Ivy...she definitely knows something and doesn't want to tell me. Or does she? Maybe she'll tell Lloyd, but not the Green Ninja...

I began to walk towards the door to get out of the house. Ivy quickly runs in front of me to open the door and kick me out. I furrow my brows.

"I'll get the door for you, Mr. Green Ninja. Please find my Y/n." She begs while opening the door. I took a deep breath in.

"I won't rest, until Y/n is back here safe and sound." In my arms where I want her to be... I said and then thought to myself. She nodded and I walked out. She slammed the door behind me and locked everything. I heard her voice through the door so I put my ear against the door to listen.

"Where is she??? I know you're here in Ninjago!" She yelled. Maybe she's on the phone? But the real question, who is on the other line?
"I don't care that she's YOUR daughter and you haven't seen her in forever! You had almost 18 years to come back and spend time with her, why now???" Ivy screamed. I furrow my brows. Is she talking to D/n? So it was him...I knew it.
"Where is she? Goddammit! If you don't tell me where she is..." Ivy trailed off. I heard a small gasp too.
"I know, we are family but I'm begging you! Please tell me where Y/n is! My dear cousin, I could never explain our family curse to her or trigger it..." she says calmly but still begging. Wait a second, cousin? Who else in Y/n's family is after her? Is she talking about the L/n family curse? Is Ivy cousins with D/n??? I need Nya to track down the other end of this phone call!

I took my phone out and summoned my dragon quickly to get away. I called Nya right away.

"Green, what's going on?" She asks.

"I need you to interfere with Ivy's call right now and figure out the location or the person on the other side of the line. I think its D/n and he might know where Y/n is!" I explained quickly and ran out of breath.

"Understood, I'm working on it right now. What will you do?" She asks.

"I'm going to try and find Y/n. I need to know she's still alive." I give a brief explanation. I just want her back in my arms where I know she's safe. Even if she thinks she's protecting me by keeping her distance, she's wrong. It's not me who needs to be protected but her, and if she doesn't survive when this whole thing ends I don't know what I'm going to do. She never deserved any of this. A dead mom, a psychotic father, a family curse close to bursting out, and everyone she knew being killed. I can't imagine having a life like that, sure I've had my fair share with an evil dad attacking the city but he's good now. I guess not everyone can be so lucky to have two parents who are good...I really miss Y/n...

My thoughts were shaken off when a beep sounded from my phone. It was the location of the person on the other line and another dot on the radar. Nya sent me a text saying that the purple glowing dot was Y/n's phone and it was still active. The red dot was the person on the other line. I can't believe it, I have the chance to either end Y/n's misery once and for all or bring her home to safety in my arms. Ugh, what do I do??? There is nothing I want more than to see Y/n smile and happy... but how do I do that? Do I save her? Do I stop the man threatening her? What do I want more? The satisfaction of seeing D/n locked up? Or Y/n safe in my arms? This decision is the biggest one I'll ever make...

Mom always said to follow what your heart says...

I think I know what I want to do...

Also this is the last week of marching band so I SHOULD, keyword should, have more time to write chapters. I haven't updated my oc story in a while bc I've had legit no time... woohoo! Colorguard!
