Lloyd's POV

We were all at the monastery training. Sensei wanted us to go straight back here instead of the bounty like we usually do. I mean, we have no school tomorrow because of what happened today so I guess that makes sense.

"Do you guys want anything?!" I hear mom shout from the doorway leading to the training quarters. The ninja look at each other to see if its okay.

"Water please, mom!" I answer her while cupping my hands over my mouth to amplify the sound. She nods and leaves to the kitchen. I turn my gaze back at the others. They look like they're holding back something.

"Are you guys okay?" I ask while furrowing my brows. They all send worry looks with each other before turning their gazes back to me. Okay, now I'm worried.

"Do you think Y/n knows that her dad did it?" Zanes asks me. He seems to be the only one who is brave enough to even ask such a question. I shrug.

"Honestly, I don't know. But don't worry, we'll find out tomorrow." I say while grabbing my sword from the weapons cabinet.

"What do you mean, we'll find out tomorrow?" Jay asks, his interest piqued. I push my hair back and out of my face.

"I got her number, and we're going to meet tomorrow to discuss it." I say while walking back towards them. They all smirk and send each other looks. Oh boy, here we go. Nya's face enlightened with excitement.

"YOU GOT HER NUMBER???!!!!" She exclaims excitedly like a child getting candy. The others start to chuckle.

"Well yeah. How else are we going to solve this? We need her." I shrug, trying to not make a big deal about it. For real? I'm actually happy that I finally got her number, started talking to her finally, and asked her out. It took me a year, but hey...we're getting somewhere.

"WE need her? Or do YOU need her?" Kai says emphasizing the "we" and "you" while sending me a smirk. Oh my god, these guys are kids. What's the big deal about me liking a girl anyways? Besides her being the only one who never showed hatred towards us, why? I roll my eyes at his comment.

"Am I solving this case? Or are we all doing it?" I ask him trying to change topic. He shakes his head and rolls his eyes.

"Did you at least ask her out?" Cole asks while resting his elbow on Zane's shoulder. Zane gave him an unamused look.

"That's none of your business now is it?" I reply. They all share amused looks and Nya starts giggling.
"What's so funny?" I ask while putting my hands on my hips. Nya shakes her head and tries to stop herself from giggling.

"You know I could always just ask Y/n about this right?" She says while sending me an evil glare and grin. I got chills from that.

"If we can't get the answer out of you, maybe SHE will say something? Especially to Nya." Jay adds on, defending Nya's point. I roll my eyes.

"Whatever. Anyways, we're going to meet tomorrow and she's going to tell me who she thinks killed Jared." I tell them while walking over to the bench to get my phone. I check to see a text from Y/n and I smile.

Hey, do you want to meet at my house? Ivy will be gone all day at work and won't be home til late.

Sure, but at least let me take you out first before we go to each other's houses ;)
