Lloyd's POV

I wake up at 6am to train for 2 hours. Today we had off because of Jared's death that took place at school. Everyone was grieving in their own way. I just shook it off and didn't worry about it. Sure he was a huge dick to me, but at the same time he didn't deserve it. I shrug and put on some work out clothes. The others decided to sleep in a bit. That's fine, at least now I can finally train without them bombarding me with questions and jokes about Y/n. I can't wait for our "date" soon.

"You're up early son." I hear my fathers voice from behind me which startled me a bit.
"I thought you'd be sleeping in like the others and train later." He says. I chuckle.

"Well I actually have plans later and I kind of wanted to train alone before they wake up." I explain. He lifts an eyebrow, with his interest piqued.

"What kind of plans, and with whom?" He asks with a knowing smirk. He already knows, he just wants me to say it.

"I'm going over to Y/n's house." I say, his eyes widen with excitement and his grin grows.

"So you finally talked to her! Is it a date?" He asks, thrilled for my accomplishment. He's proud of me. I smile.

"Well, not a date-date. But I did ask her out and I'm working on what to do for that date." I explain while gesticulating my hands. He hums and nods.

"Well, I better not hold you up! And son?" He exclaims. I stop walking and turn my gaze to him.

"Yes, dad?" I ask.

"Control yourself. And those damn hormones while your at it." He says while chuckling at the end. My face turns bright red and heats up faster than an oven. I hide my face in my hands from embarrassment.

"Why would you say that???" I whine. He keeps laughing.

"I was your age once son. Just, control yourself. Please?" He chuckles. I walk away.

"I'll be fine! Thank you dad!" I say sarcastically, walking away quickly from the embarrassment. Man, he really knows how to embarrass me.

Y/n's POV

My eyes reluctantly open to the sound of the alarm on my phone. I check my phone with a reminder that says, "lloyd is coming over", and clear it off, including the alarm. Ivy must've left already because my door was slightly open.

I get up and go shower while blasting some Melanie Martinez. I start singing along to my favorite song by her.
