"Better now than never I guess..." I said while rubbing his forearms. He smiled and we continued walking. I pulled him back for another kiss for good luck. We pulled away and walked together to the kitchen. This man did not look familiar to me at all. I looked up at Lloyd and his jaw was dropped. He was in total shock. He must know who the person is...

No one's POV

The scrawny doctor was in the dark room, with only a lamp light to help him see the files and papers he was looking though. D/n walked in and sat in his usual corner.

"What are you looking at doctor?" He asked while crossing his legs in his seat. The skinny legend fixed his glasses and showed him some medical papers.

"I'm looking through your family's medical history and Y/n's medical conditions for anything that could help trigger the curse more." He begins while switching through the different papers.

"Any luck? Like phobias, allergies, anything?" D/n asks impatiently while getting up to look at the files. The man in the lab coat stiffens in a little fear but shakes it off.

"I've found some phobias that she could trigger and will definitely help build up her negative emotions to trigger the curse in time." The doc said while showing him the list of different phobias. He was familiar with some, but he knew she would never end up having some of them. Until he saw a few that could work.

"What are these three phobias right here?" He asked while pointing to them. The skinny man fixed his glasses to get a better look at the words.

"Thantophobia, the fear of losing a loved one. Taphephobia, fear of being buried alive. And finally, Agateophobia, the fear of insanity." The man explained to D/n. He hums in interest and scratches his chin.

"We could use these to our advantage for our plan, doctor." He realizes with his mouth pulled up to a malicious grin. The scrawny man returned the villainous smile.

"I already planned one of them for phase three." He confessed while taking the paper back. D/n started cackling oh so viscously and the doctor joined him too.

Y/n's POV

I kinda want to disappear right now. I feel so awkward standing here and my anxiety is kicking in.

"Why didn't you tell me about this, sensei?" Lloyd asks while walking over to the man. Wait, sensei??? Lloyd does martial arts??? I mean, I guess that makes sense why he's so ripped and buff. The old man with a straw hat and a white beard sighed.

"I wanted to be sure it was her when you first spoke of Y/n." He said while standing up to meet us. I sent Lloyd a confused stare, he kept his gaze on his sensei.
"Now that I've talked to Ivy and heard what's been going on, I'm sure of it." He finishes. I furrow my brows. What the fuck is going on? He knows who I am? This is not good for my mental state right now.

"Who are you?" I get the courage to ask. He shifts his gaze to me and smiles.

"I'm Wu. I'm an old sensei of your mother, she called for my help the night your father fell under the curse. I'm sorry I didn't make it in time to save her. It broke my heart when..." he explains and trails off while dropping his gaze down. I pulled away from Lloyd's hold and hugged Wu. He seemed shocked at first but then hugged me back. I dug my nails into my palms, hoping to get rid of my anxiety.
