Sweet but Psycho (Lloyd x Reader)

Y/n's POV

I made it to the classroom. I take a deep breathe in and out with my eyes closed. Mentally preparing myself for what's coming next. I grab the handle, twist it open, and pull the door and walk in.

"Oh! Look who decided to show up???" Miss Vallie teases while looking up at her desk. I look around the class, everyone seems to be doing a worksheet while listening to music. I walk over to her desk and hand her the pass. She takes it and looks at it. Then she looks up at me and smiles.

"I hope your bruise is a bit better. You can keep your jacket off to ice it if you want..." she says pointing to the jacket in my hand. Oh yeah, dress code is a thing. At least Vallie doesn't give a shit really.

"The packet is on the table in the back. Today is a free reading day for the book we are discussing this marking period. You can listen to music if you want as well." I look at the back and see the stack of packets. I nod and head to my seat which is in front of Lloyd. He looks up and gives me a small smile which I return. I then drop my bag at my desk and grab the packet. I pull the book Romeo and Juliet  out of my bag. I put my earbuds in and silently jam out while getting my work and homework done during class. I hear a muffled school bell ring. Reminding me that I have a free period after this.

I pack my stuff into my backpack and walk out with my earbuds still in and the bag of ice being held against my shoulder. I throw my jacket on covering up the bruise and ice. Looks like a lump.

During free period you can pretty much go anywhere in the school where you want to go, but it has to be on school grounds. Some have rebelled and got away with it. Meanwhile, I'd much rather be in the library or music room. Today was a music room kind of day.

I walk into the classroom and take in the view. There's a recording studio, a piano, a guitar case, some maracas, bongos, other instruments, a couple of microphones, and a computer to play music. I love this room, especially when it's my free period because no one is ever in here. Except me of course. The teacher knows I come in here the most so he just let's me go in and gives me my privacy. I don't like singing in front of a big crowd. Maybe when I was younger, but not now or ever.

I drop my bag on a nearby chair and go to the studio. I plug my phone in and set up a song I've been wanting to do a cover for for so long. I grab the headphones, plug in the microphone to the speaker, and I grab my phone again to get ready to press play.

I double check that everything was plugged in correctly and the audio was set to record at a normal pitch. I press play and the music pulls me in and I feel like I'm going to fly. This one is for you mom.

Lloyd's POV

Free period! My favorite "class" of the day. It's the one period me and the ninja have together. We usual go out in the courtyard or hang in the library to talk or discuss strategies and fighting techniques. Sometimes we go to the weight room to work out. When you're a ninja, you gotta stay in shape!

"Where do you guys want to go to today? I know I don't want to go to the weight room." Jay asks with a nervous chuckle at end.

"Me too, I want to relax." Cole adds on.

"I'd like to get my homework done." Zane continues and I hear Nya hum in agreement while nodding.
