Inuyasha's POV

I rode Kirara for what seem to be hours in the night. It was freezing making Kirara shiver violently. I want to tell her to stop and curl up to for some warmth. That's the least I can do for her. She was pulled into this mess so innocently. I did not stop, however. The sooner we get there the faster I can put an end to this weather. I urge her to continue and that we are almost there. She meows in response. I felt my own teeth start to shake with icy breezes that pull through harshly dancing across my face with no remorse for my health and needs. The wind doesn't have any regrets in making me suffer this way.

I see the castle loom in the distance closing in on us as we make our way over and adding speed to our pace. We made it to the entrance that consist of a gate with the bars close together that put a strain on our eyes as we tried to peer in. "What business do you have here half-breed." That nickname once again came back to haunt me. "I am here to speak with Sesshomaru and the girl that he brought here." He looked me in the eye and had the urge to laugh. He tried to mask it with a stoic face that did not go unnoticed by me. I snared as he began to address my quest like if I was a peasant. "What makes you think that we would ever tell our Lord that a Half Breed is demanding to see him and the Lady of the West?" I was stunned for a moment. 'The Lady of The West? He couldn't be talking about (Y/N) could he?' I composed myself so that he can take more seriously than he was at first. Trying to push past him I took long strides to make it to the gate when a few swords came and intersected me from moving any further. "When did we give you permission to step forward?"

I know he didn't, but with the situation at hand, I decided that I did not care what he tried to do I would do what I needed to just to see her. I launched myself towards him and knocked the weapon from his grip and swung it away. Leaving him unguarded and easier to defeat. I took out Tessaiga and converted it to transform for me. I wielded to smash down on the soldier's side and moved on to the other one. I made sure that all were taken cared of before I moved on to the main reason I was here, to begin with.

"Rin" I shouted at the girl that was in the field surrounded with a variety of flowers. The scent was very familiar as I moved closer to see. "These must be (Y/N) flowers'. They smell just like the ones at home. More detailed here though. She must have gotten stronger.' The thought of her was overwhelming my senses making me blank out. Daydreaming about my memories with her kept me from what I needed to do here. I snapped out of it and looked down to the frightening girl that is shaking. The weather started decreasing every minute that passed by. The flowers gave a warming sensation that began to wan and takes effect on the younger being. Knowing that if I wanted information I would have to give her an exchange. I removed my haori and wrapped it around her shoulders. "I don't know if you remember who I am, but I need your help." She looked at me with eyes filled with confusion and scooted backward. I took it as a signed that I was not going to get what I was looking for here. She wrapped the cloth closer to her body and patted that seat in front of her.

"What can I help you with?" I sat down eagerly and made sure to give her background to ensure she gets why I am asking her for this. "I know how much Sesshomaru means to you. He knows how much this person means to me too. He took her from me a while ago. I sense that she must be in danger and I need to take care of her. I don't know if you know who I am talking about, but please help me find her and bring her home." She shook her head with a sad smile.

" Lady (Y/N) has become someone that I look up to the most. She is graceful and whimsical. She taught me that word. I think it fits her really well. Yes, she is in a deep slumber and it is taking a toll on everyone. I tried to read to her to make her smile and still has a blank face. I miss her. So much. I know she means a lot to My Lord, but with him, she has yet to wake up. If you promise me that you can save her please do your best. She is in the West hall the room next to Lord Sesshomaru. It is up to the stairs to through those doors there. You have a good sense of smell that should help you with looking for her room."

I smiled and nodded at her. "Thank you I will do my best. Anything I have to so that I can make sure she opens her eyes." I leaped and ran towards the place that smelled strongly of her. I bound to the West hall and turn to face the beautifully carved door that had her name embedded with the finest craftsmanship I have ever seen. I slammed enough force to break it open. I was quick to have a hand wrapped around my throat the moment I walked in and laid eyes on the bed that contained her laying lifeless. "Who gave you the right to enter my lands." I came eye to eye with Sesshomaru. I growled and slapped his hand away. I don't exactly know how it worked but he let go rather quickly.

"Where is she?" I don't know why I asked since I already had the answered to my own question. He began to laugh at my dumb inquiry. "She is over there, but I can reassure you that you will not see her." I came for her and I am not leaving without her. I jumped over and ran straight for the bed that had the most medication and herbs around. I moved aside and picked her up and leap out the window. I made sure to cover her body with mine and landed on the ground.

"Kirara we need to go now!" She jumped to action and took us in the sky towards the village. I made sure to look around and see if there was anyone in sight. That's when I caught a glimpsed of an orange kimono. "Here she might be cold." I took back the missing piece from my kimono and wrapped it around her. This is the first time I see her after so long. I cradle her close to my chest and look down to her pale face. 'Even closed to death you still look beautiful.' I can't look away from her in fear she might just be a mirage in my hands. I tighten my grip and pull her closer.

'I got you now. You're safe with me (Y/N).'

(Y/N) POV

'I feel so warm. This scent is familiar to me.'

'Inu........Ya....sha?'
