*Inuyasha's Pov*"Who are you?" I growled in her direction to warn her not to get too cocky with us. Her shoulders moved up and down lightly as she laughed. "Who are you trying to intimidate half-breed? Or human I should say." She retracted her white feathery wings to be able to shoot straight down to the ground. Gracefully landing on her feet.
"Though you have no need to know, you may call me Aiko. Just for the sake of names, who are you?" She quirked her eyebrow as she lifted the corner of her mouth in a smirk. She must know something I don't and that fact alone made me brim with anger.
"Who says I have to tell you?" She snickers just to get a rise out of me, so I stay quiet. With a scowl, but I don't dare peep a word out. "You're right. You don't need to. How fortunate that I just do happen to know what it is anyways. Inuyasha was it? At least that's what the Miko keeps saying."
At the mention of a Miko, I instantly turn to glance at Kagome. "Mmhmm, she sang that name as a prayer as we put her under. She was persistent to remain in control but we always have a way." ' What is this feeling in my chest?' Guilt. It was the impending knowledge of having someone hope for me and come out disappointed.
"You're going to make one hell of an apology with your body in shreds." My claws ached to swing wildly to be rid of her. She has done so much wrong only to be let off the hook. I snared loudly to establish the power that I have that can easily take her out. Maybe then she won't be talking down on us like if we are just trash that is wasting away.
"I wouldn't do that if I were you. Because one? I wasn't the one who inflicted the damage. Two? Because of a little birdy. Someone who means the absolute world to a little half-breed." I shook my head with a proud grin. "Kagome isn't under your control anymore. She isn't the little birdy you make her out to be."
"Who says that I am talking about her?" My eyes widened with the realization that she was speaking of (Y/n). I was quick to stand even with my bad leg. "Where is she?" She began to strut to come in front of me. She bent over as my body slowly backed down to the ground. She took a hold of my chin in her soft hands. She felt different than what a normal human being feels like.
"Milady is resting. She has an important mission to do and you are getting in the way. I have come from her side to dispose of you." Her touch began to make me sweat bullets with as the temperature started to rise to a scorching heat. I tried to pull away which led to her tighten her grip.
"You are lucky, however. I was informed to ask you to leave and never look back. Milady is off-limits to you now. You were never good enough to be by her side in the first place." She let out a puff of air that indicated that she was irritated to be here. I decided to keep her talking so that I would be able to pinpoint (Y/n) by her scent when I get my abilities back.
"What are you going to do to her?" My fist presses into my side to keep me from lunging to squeeze her throat. She paused a moment, taken back by my assumption with a gasp. "I'm not going to do anything to Milady. I made an oath to protect her." She stomped her leg out in frustration.
"You don't know the lengths me and Dai-. You don't know what we've been through to ensure that Lady (Y/n) was okay." Her head snapped to the side to hide the sadness that was forming in her eyes. "You don't get it." Her eyes were suddenly focused on me with an abundance of fury.
"You don't get it so leave! She doesn't need you!" The white feathery wings sprouted from her back to gloat of their length. They flapped to send a gust of air onto our faces. Cuts cover our faces from the impact of her power.
"Inuyasha? What are we going to do? We can't fight her." Miroku whispered as he crouched down by my side. 'He's right. In my condition, I don't know how much damage I'll be able to do.' I opted to lend in him to get up from my pitiful position.
"Hey! How about a duel? You against me." I had no idea what I am doing nor do I have anything planned that could actually get me out alive. She shook her head.
"Have you not learned? Kagome had you on your back with a scared look in your face. And she's just human. I will destroy you." I scoffed when I turned to face her again.
"Heh. I won. She stopped after she knew she couldn't keep fighting me." 'I did win. Fairly at that.' She copied my actions by spitting a sound that expresses loathing intentions.
"You won because she isn't as powerful as y'all make her out to be. I was designed to protect one of the strongest people to have ever existed. What does that tell you, Human?" She stood her ground with her face set to have sharp features that could slice anyone that dared cross her.
'Strongest? Could she be talking about (Y/n)?'
"Means it'll be more fun to kill you." Her whole body shook with what seems to be frustration. She wields to katana blade to take form in her palms as she got in fight stands. "You talk all for someone who is weaker than my smallest finger."
"I think you'll be surprised." I pushed off of Miroku in order to stand up by myself. My leg objected with every step I took to go over in front of her. I knew I wouldn't get to inflict much pain un my state right now. As long as I stall her until the morning.
"Fine than Half-breed. Have it your way."
